I accepted a deal in writing with Koons Tysons Toyota management, Salesman, and Appraiser for the trade in of my 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport in October, 2020. That deal was verified the morning of my arrival to buy a new 2021 Tacoma TRD Sport on November 1, 2020. However, on my arrival to the dealership a few hours later (Nov. 1) their management team refused the previously accepted in-writing deal. I've spoken to multiple managers and none of them care about the in-writing promise that was made to me. One of the managers said "post a review, it's a free country." If ANY competitors of Koons wants to see my communication history with Koons Tysons Toyota, please let me know. In my opinion, Koons Tysons of Toyota doesn't care about customer loyalty, they don't care about honoring their promises, and they think they can bully loyal customers. For them, it's all about the money and playing the game. I am appalled. The public should shop elsewhere for Tacoma trucks. There are plenty of other dealerships to shop from. I purchased a KIA Soul on Sep 29th. The dealership asked me to pay more $2K~2.5K as a "maintenance & reconditioning" cost. They said they performed such service to make the car have the "quality standard of a new car." Since it was my first time to buy a car and they sell certified preowned cars, I trusted them and believed them. For the long story short, I got my car inspected by an independent inspection shop. There many things to get replaced or fixed, but the thickness of brake pedals is not the "quality standard of a new car" as they promised. The rear brake pedals at 3/32 inches while new brake pedals are 1/2 inches. I wonder why KIA brand management team allows such practice. Because they told me that this car has the quality standard of a new car, I thought that all KIA cars are like this - noise some brakes and vibration during driving. This dealership misrepresents the brand image of KIA.

If you are military, and if your home of record is in another state that you want to register your vehicle (mine is Florida), then do not, I say again, do not purchase a vehicle from this dealership!!!!!! I would give them a negative 1000 stars if able. In my 25 year military career, i have never seen such incompetince, inaction, failure of leadership, and overall clown show of an organization. From general manager, to finance director to title, they are all pathetic. I was stationed in Japan, and coordinated purchasing a vehicle in time to pick it up the day after I landed. I went to the dealership, approved by outside financing, and was told by Jesse (he better be fired by now), in such a condescending and demeaning tone to my wife, that the dealership had to file my military exemption to tax and title charges, and register my car in Florida. Despite both my wife and I knowing this was wrong, the look on her face could kill a man, we turned over all of the paperwork to the dealership, “and we will not charge you to process your paperwork due to your military service”. As my 30 day temp tag was about to expire, I called to asked the status of registering my car. This was after I made two calls earlier in the month. I got nothing but unanswered calls with no voice mail. I called 20 times in one day!!!! Finally, I broke down, drove over to the dealership, and dealt directly with the Finance Director. A great person, but ability to get to a solution was non-existent. Nor did he ever call, email me or notify me in anyway what they were doing to provide me resolution. I had multiple conversations with the General Manager, who clearly does not know how to manage his team, get results or follow through. The final idiot in this process is the Title clerk, who firing doesn’t do justice. Thanks Crystal! If you are looking for a Honda, go ANYWHERE else. And Ourisman as a whole is a JOKE. Apparently, Ourisman Honda and GMC “are two different corporations, so we are not sure why they did what they did for you and your wife when you bought there!!!” Exact same process, two completely different procedures and outcomes. I pray to all of my fellow service members, STAY AWAY. And USAA, if you care about military members, remove these hacks from your car buying service!

Dealer Review:

I accepted a deal in writing with Koons Tysons Toyota management, Salesman, and Appraiser for the trade in of my 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport in October, 2020. That deal was verified the morning of my arrival to buy a new 2021 Tacoma TRD Sport on November 1, 2020. However, on my arrival to the dealership a few hours later (Nov. 1) their management team refused the previously accepted in-writing deal. I've spoken to multiple managers and none of them care about the in-writing promise that was made to me. One of the managers said "post a review, it's a free country." If ANY competitors of Koons wants to see my communication history with Koons Tysons Toyota, please let me know. In my opinion, Koons Tysons of Toyota doesn't care about customer loyalty, they don't care about honoring their promises, and they think they can bully loyal customers. For them, it's all about the money and playing the game. I am appalled. The public should shop elsewhere for Tacoma trucks. There are plenty of other dealerships to shop from. Amar Rana is the General Manager Alex Armakan is the Sales Manager Ricky Jacobs is the Internet Manager All 3, plus the appraiser, Kevin Butler, and the salesman, have been on all communication emails. None of them seem to care about the Koons Promise that I received in writing. It's shameful.
