2025 Toyota Camry
Was disappointed that the upgrade didn't happen last year, but bought a 2024 as a "placeholder" to not lose as much value as my previous GMC. On Memorial Day, bought a Red/Black XSE ( no, I'm not one of THOSE drivers) equipped with the "Q" package. Has Everything but the unneeded AWD. Always have been a GM guy until now! In a little over a month, I have nearly 2400 Texas miles. … Enough power to get on hwy even with the aggressive drivers in this military town . Very quiet. 9 speaker JBL has more oomph. Wireless charger works through my phone's armor plating. Nav is current. Driving through the Hill Country, toward Austin, I still get around 43mpg at 75mph speed limit, which is about 3 better than the 2024. Gotten as much as 50 around town. Sun is too strong here to want to use the roof glass, so not really necessary. PSA: Buy road hazard insurance for tires as it can cost you up to $400 to replace one of these. I've already used it. Great amenities, but you might want to strangle the "Grandma" driver detection that tells you to "sit up straight" if it can't see your eyes if your arm may be positioned in front of the steering wheel sensor, for those that don't drive at "10 and 2". I may retire with this car in 5 or 6 years. My best one yet. CW 7/01/24
