Used 2008 Toyota Tundra Double Cab Consumer Reviews
2008 Tundra is tops
Very reliable. I have driven this 2008 tundra 268,000 miles with minimum repairs (water pump (2) and condenser coil for AC) other than normal maintenance items. Good quality and very quiet interior. Still no rattles and everything works just like it came off the showroom floor. Turning radius is great and handles very well in town or on the highway. Great acceleration and power with the 5.7L V8. I love it and will keep it forever.

Miles ahead of 2005 F-150
Very disappointed with the brakes on my 2005 Ford F-150 XLT. I had test driven a couple of 08 Tundras in the past year and a half and I was very impressed with the feel and the power of Toyotas brakes. They are awesome! When you want to stop you stop! With the Ford I was always a little apprehensive with the brakes, always anticipating an early stop and even when I would plan ahead I always felt that they were unsafe. Well I have to tell you after 4 Ford trucks Ford has lost me as a customer.
Typical Toyota!
I found a used one and bought it. Goes like hell, rides nice, quiet, great looking, functional, fun and for the most part is built very well. Wouldn't have considered any other make, especially now that they are no longer cheaper up here in Canada. Toyota will always be my only choice unless they prove me otherwise!
Strong Truck
I've had my 5.7L for about a year and will exceed 25K miles this year. This is a well-made vehicle. It replaced my 05 F250 diesel. Now this is no F250, but I do pull 6000 pounds with it and it's pretty good. Without the trailer it's just plain fun to drive. Of course mashing the accelerator cost you lots of money because the fuel mileage is pretty poor. I'm mostly highway and I average around 16 mpg. The price I got a year ago was incredible. This is a whole lot of truck for the money. Only real complaint I have on this truck is the paint. It's very thin and scratches very easily. This is a common complaint of the Toyota Truck Forums.
