American Truck makers had better beware, after looking over all available options in trucks the choice was clear. The only option I have added to this truck is a Rhino Liner. Impressive performance, easy to drive, my wife enjoys driving it. As an American I would like to buy American, but the cars and trucks we produce just don't hold up to what the Japanese offer

I bought my 05 Tundra about two weeks ago, and I am still in love. This car is the Lexus LS 430 of Trucks. The truck rides smoothly, has all the punch when I need it, and has a good size bed and room for passengers and kids. The TRD package is a great suspension to have for Los Angeles, as there are plenty of rough roads even in the city.

Love my Tundra

Bought my truck new and have loved it since the first day. I use synthetic oil and have it changed at the dealer about every 5000 miles. Last year I was in a 5 car accident. I was driving 65 mph, locked it up and stopped about 4 feet from hitting the car in front of me. The guy behind me did not stop. He smashed in the front end of his car and had to be towed. My bumper had a small dent and I was fine. He must have hit me at about 60 mph. Since then, I have bought a 4 Runner for my wife and a 4 Runner for my daughter for her first car. I need to get a timing belt put on the truck - get your maintenance at the dealer, your truck will last forever.

Drive Tundra to work everyday approx 22 miles of highway driving. Has been a very reliable vehicle with now having 62,000 miles and still on the original tires. Only maintenance has been by the book with fluid changes. Tow boat about once every two weeks and it handles a 3,000 pound package without any problem.

As a longtime owner and driver of American-made, full size pickups, the 4- door Tundra is by the far the most drivable machine I've ever owned. Its like a luxury car with an open trunk.
