Interior size is deceiving, much larger than one would think. much larger than cars with trucks.

Shop ALL on-line sources even for the SAME V.I.N. Dealers may try to sell it for more than otherwise advertised!

What I Now Know...

The GPS is worthless. It cannot be seen on a sunny day. The maps are also unreliable. Mine have gone out twice, and the cost to update is exorbitant. The mileage estimates are also high. As carefully as I have tried to drive, I have never been able to meet the MPG estimate.

Trip To The Grand Canyon From San Anotnio

I bought my Prius V Five in April. My son and I drove to the Grand Canyon from San Antonio this summer, in one week we added 2,500 miles to the car odometer. Highway speed limit at places are 85MPH and driving in the park 20MPH. I averaged 42.5 MPG on this trip. By the way I had no trouble driving at 85MPH on IH10 or IH20 in West Texas. The car handled very well and kept up with all the other traffic on the highway.

This car has gotten stuck in 1 inch of snow this winter, and in Wisconsin that is not a good thing! This car rides horribly also, you feel every bump in the road! My family lives about 40 miles away, and I dread going to see them because I know I will be stiff and sore after the ride there! Another complaint I have about this vehicle is that it is difficult to get a convertible car seat to sit properly in the middle of the back seat while in the rear facing position. It would take forever to get the car seat in just the right spot that it wouldn't tip due to the split between the oddly sized seats in the back. And you can't put a car seat on the side because of the side air bags.
