What a great car!!!

All right, I'll get straight to the point: This car in my opinion has by far the best value for the buck! Okay, so it's only a 1.8 engine, but it has well enough power to accelerate on the freeway, and once we all reach "65mph" (yea, I mean 75-80-85mph) it's all the same no matter what vehicle you drive right?. On the other hand, the Matrix XR has features that even a BMW doesn't. It's got a power outlet (115V) that turned out to be so useful, it's versatilty is outstanding. Right front seat can become a table, hard plastic surface on the back of the rear seats can turn the Matrix to a mini SUV, the fuel consumption is great (29mpg combining city and freeway driving), handling is outstanding!

my matrix handles like a dream, and I feel safe in it. It is not really powerful, but I don't care for a lot of power, it just gets me speeding tickets that i don't need.

I love this car! I am a mother of two, I camp, have pets a home and work. I can do so much with this car. Tons of space, fun to drive, great on gas, smart features, and the stick gives a bit more power than the automatic. Always wanted a Toyota, and have always owned Fords or GM, never again. Very veristile, nimble and comfortable. Also can hold it's speed well. Narrow tires great in the snow, even without the AWD. Well worth it car.

My Matrix

I'd recommend the Matrix to anyone, for one, the AWD is fantastic (I live in Upstate NY and the AWD was spectacular this winter), even with the AWD, I average 32 mpg. I love the 60/40 split seat, and the hatchback room is impressive. What is also great is that the front passanger seat folds into a desk which is great if you are porting your laptop (which can be powered by the AC outlet in the dash). Everywhere I go, I get compliments on my car.

Comfortable seating, the seats are high so legs aren't streched out. Handles very well, esp in inclement weather. Great visibility all around. Gets on the average 27 mpg. Range 325 miles. Smooth ride.
