Replace bad touch screen for $20!
Thousands of Corolla and Camry owners, including myself experienced the touchscreen becoming unresponsive only a couple years into use. A 6.1” touch screen digitizer is about $20 online if you’re willing to replace yourself instead of a dealership repair of $1000 or more!
Quality Corolla
Before purchasing my Corolla I test drove a Hyundai Elantra and the Mazda 3 at the same price point $21,500 . To me the 2014 Corolla has the best quality, features and styling. The dash reminds me of a 1972 Chevelle.... in a good way. I really like the Blue tooth, back up camera Sport seats are really comfortable with lots of adjustments. large sunroof. The S model wheels are awesome! The CVT trans is great on the highway. To me it accelerates strange in the city on hills. The sport mode is fun with shift points. makes it feel pretty fast. Paddle shifters? really? I probably wont use them much.
Unbelievably Reliable
It's a great car in total. Bullet proof engine, Direct and port injected and no problems even at 140,500 miles. The one I have is a manual 6 speed which in my opinion is much better than a CVT. Yeah its throws are a bit long and the clutch is lengthy but from what I've heard, most of the everyday Toyota manuals are like that. Seats are comfortable, driving position is comfortable, everything is comfortable. The back seat feels freakishly big for a small sedan, I'm 6'1 and I can do a road trip sitting in the back seat. The only think that bothers me just a little is the infotainment but if you look at Toyota and Lexus, the infotainment is pretty bad so I can't complain too much. The six speakers are pretty damn good for a small affordable car. Now I came from a 06' Pilot, so for those of you coming from nicer cars I don't really know how you would interpret it. The trunk is spacious, cabin is spacious. Made in Canada (at least this model). Overall, I am very glad I own this car!

Great Car!
I traded in my Ford Focus for a Corolla and I have to say that I absolutely love it! It is smooth, quiet and has a great audio system PLUS a backup camera! You get so much for your money with this car. I don't have any problems with the horsepower, but then again I don't race from stop lights or anything like that. This is a great far for young people and also if you want a car with the most bang for your buck you'll want to check it out!
Cylinder Head Replaced at 13,500, Probable Factory Milling Issue
Bought 2014 LE Eco Plus in September of 2013. At 13,300 miles, Code registered for fuel/air imbalance. Service Bulletin said cylinder head and 4 valves to be replaced under warranty. Major repair for a young car. Very disappointed. Toyota will not at this point extend drive train warranty for free because they have "fixed" it. Other than that, car runs smoothly, nice and heavy for a little car. The gray seat fabric stains very easily, even a wet gym bag or wet work bag if left on the seat too long leave pronounced stain, even with the Stain Guard extra they sell you at time of purchase. This is a hassle, worrying about everything that touches the seats. Average 32MPG.
