Have not bought a car in 12 years. This thing is nuts. We expect close to 50 mpg. Too many features to mention. We chose a light blue color, oceansomething. Really nice.

We purchased a 2025 Toyota Camry XSE Hybrid in August 2024. It is the second Toyota Camry XSE Hybrid we have purchased from Northcutt Toyota (We handed down the 2023 to our college student when I purchased the 2025). Both cars are awesome but the 2025 has more features (integrated dash cam, heads-up display, cooled seats, and panoramic moonroof are the main ones) than the 2023. This is one of the nicest vehicles we've ever owned and has lots of great options at the XSE trim level. It handles great, has awesome "get up and go" and gets great gas mileage, too!

Grew up in a car culture family. Mercedes, BMW, Porsche in our house and monthly subscriptions to all the major publications in print. Funny how times change as I now seek “value” for my auto tastes. At home, we have a CRV, Insight and a Highlander. Although not hybrid, I recently experienced a late model Camry LE Hertz rental while on vacation in FL and I felt my experience was still relevant with common traits of any Camry. The value statement presented by Toyota is very compelling. On the highway holding 80 mph at 1,800 rpm. The driving dynamic takes a “4” driver to a “”6” on a 0-10 scale as a reference just based upon chassis, steering and suspension. It’s very forgiving for a “fleet car”. Braking excellent. I put 300 miles on the car within a week. Excellent seating support. Smooth highway offers a quiet cabin… until a semi tractor trailer comes along side, or the road surface has imperfections. The noise level becomes alarmingly intrusive. Check: Are rear windows down? No. Same for noise through floor boards. Hence, 4 stars instead of 5. Almost a perfect sedan for everyone. Perhaps, XLE mitigates this with noise reduction materials? Toyota: please invest to correct this cost effectively, and id suggest they nailed it. Not a Mercedes, but its not 1978 either.

40k is a lot of money to spend on a basic car, but that is the world we live in. That said, this one is an excellent value comparatively speaking. A spacious AWD hybrid that gets mid 40’s mpg…with plenty of amenities and legendary Toyota reliability. It was an easy decision.

2nd day. New car. Heating ineffective. Lane centering far too sensitive. Rear window/ rear door rattle on driver side. I'm beside myself. 2nd day. Now I have to schlep to the dealership. Not happy at all.
