Used 2022 Toyota Camry Consumer Reviews
New purchase
This is my third Camry. I’ve owned 3 Honda Accords over the years. I loved my 2021 Accord but the seats were to low to the ground and hard for a middle age person to get in and out of. I own a Lexus so I m very picky when it comes to comfort. I test drove many before purchasing a Camry. With gas prices these days I want a car that used regular gas. The Camry is perfect. I liked my Accord but the road noise on the Accord was noticeably loud. Decided to sale it and purchase a Camry. So far I am loving my Camry. Gas mileage is great, ride is smooth and quiet. The seats are sooo comfy! I purchased it a month ago but since my other Camrys lasted well over 10 years I plan to enjoy my new Camry for years! You can’t go wrong with a Camry or Accord. I prefer the Camry.

Love this car!
I live this car. It is comfortable to ride in - both front seats and back. There is very little road noise. Although I have the smaller engine it has plenty HP for what I need from a daily driver. Pano moon roof is a nice feature. The JBL stereo system is nice. As of now I have no complaints at all.

Great Car
I upgraded to a 2022 SE from 2019 SE. While the cars are basically the same. I appreciate some of the standard things you get in the 22 (heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, dual climate control, transmission drive modes, lane tracing assist). Toyota definitely get the transmission tuning right in the 22. The car drives smoother and feels more buttoned down. The 19 while overall is great car ( no problems at all) but it didn't have a smoothest transmission at times when moving at lower speeds. So far very satisfied with the 22.

Impressive Vehicle
I recently purchased a 2022 XSE (4cyl) and couldn't be happier. I traded in a 2020 Mazda CX-9 and have no regrets. This car is amazing, and I completely disagree with the Edmund reviewer who said this car isn't fun to drive. Though the XSE has only a tiny bit more horsepower than the XLE, the sport-tuned suspension makes a huge difference. I test drove both and while the XLE can hold its own I felt the driving experience was better in the XSE.

Never got a chance to enjoy new car smell
Right out of factory, air conditioning drain piping wasn’t installed properly. This resulted in water to collect under passenger side carpet and creating moldy smell. Dealer didn’t fix it on first try. Trying to find time to take it to dealership again. No offer of free rental, plus rattling noise from under the car.
Love my 2022 Camry LE
Great vehicle. I don’t have a “heavy” foot so don’t need a race car. I was mainly looking for a vehicle with a smooth/quiet ride, excellent gas mileage, and a reputation for longevity. This car delivers on all of those. I’m really impressed by the technology and advanced safety features as well. Looking forward to years of reliability.

Terrific Car
The "experts" said the 4 cylinder engine was sluggish. I'm not a race car driver, but in my opinion, the 4 cylinder engine is fine. I'm very pleased with the car. The technology is very good, the safety features are excellent. Very good car for the money.

Sporty looks and great MPG
I really like this car, went with the XSE AWD, supersonic red & black top w/sunroof. Car does well with get up and go in the city and getting onto the highways. Feels like a sports car in the corners. Sport mode comes in handy for getting around. The MPG's are great, road trip style 37-38mpg @ 70-75mph. City been seeing 24-27mpg. Plenty of trunk space and get tons of comments on how cool it looks. A few things to mention on the space inside. I am 5'11" and have to have the drivers seat all the way down have very little height left before head is rubbing the roof, the rearview mirror only adjusts so much so I don't see out the full rear window. The head rest as well only adjust up and down and doesn't tilt (tilting would be helpful). Sitting in the back is a rare occasion but it works, except for the middle, you better be short if your sitting in the rear middle.

Surprised pleasantly
I had been researching cars and suv for literally years because I like to keep up. I had a 2014 Honda Crv which was fine for awhile but the ride, handling and fuel economy was a disappointment. I am older so I was still looking for something which was not an ingress/egress challenge and so I thought I was going to be back in an suv of some kind when it came time to buy. I waited long enough for the chip shortage to change the supply demand picture and then the fuel prices started going up and hybrids and fuel efficient sedan prices started going up too. I actually have an aversion to hybrid/ev vehicles anyway so I stuck with gasoline when I started looking seriously to buy. I settled on an Accord because the Civic made me feel claustrophobic and the seats were way down there. Well Honda dealers were reluctant to even talk about msrp for their Accords even at the dealer where I had bought my last Honda. My son recommended a Toyota dealer in Santa Maria (Santa Mari Toyota) who was selling at fair market prices with no price gouging dealer add ons. I made contact with them and wound up with a Camry SE. I love the car..it handles very well and rides very well and the fuel economy is highly rated. All the car rating sites have it rated highly but they all slobber over Hondas and the put a Mazda or maybe a Korean car in between in their ratings. I smell a rat but I can recommend the Camry personally and without reservation. The seating is well situated for comfort and the cushions are firm but comfy and mildly bolstered. The synthetic fabric is just fine for me..better than all fabric and almost leather like in feel and appearance. The car is plenty fast enough, seriously..I love performance but speed costs money and this is as fast as I can go. The eco setting is ok sometimes but I prefer normal. The sport setting tightens up steering and the shifts are farther between so when you pass you have the best the car can do. The radio is 6 speakers which sounds a little Econo for audiophiles which I am but the sound is absolutely excellent for this class of car. It is not a branded set up but trust me you will be impressed. I am still experimenting with the safety 2.5 settings and I am getting better with them although I use cruise control a lot I am Luke warm over the lane warning and lane assisting. OK it is there but I like to drive without those. Cross traffic and rear warnings are great so am good with it. The backup camera is really nice with a lit up grid showing your projected steering path. I have always bought cars with sun roofs and I have really never used them. It is always either too hot out or cool and the noise when driving is distracting. The SE does not come with the roof so I am happy to save the money and have a little more head room. Complaints are niggling..the glove box is small..the center console lid is big and clumsy to open in my seating position but it is large enough inside to be handy. I had trouble connecting to Apple car play a couple of times but that seemed to go away. The car is new so maybe I should knock on wood but I am so happy I made this choice.
V6 xse
I love this car. I’ve had it for 5 days. I got it fully loaded, added the black tint. Sporty enough to not look like my age but have the reliability of a Toyota. The v6 has some real kick in sport mode and I’m getting easily 25 mpg in eco mode.
