Great looking but…,

Great looking car but the 4cyl is way under powered and there is no remote start included on the XSE. The factory tires are horribly noisy it is so annoying to drive the car right now. I have to say all the safety features are starting to ruin the enjoyment of driving a car.

In last 20 years this is my fifth Camry. I never can't expect that model 2022 Camry SE don't have REMOTE START option. This is my last TOYOTA and I don't recommend for anyone to buy any Toyota cars.

ELECTRIC SEATS, WINDOWS AND DOORS ALL DESPICABLE

My auto mechanic gave me a loaner car that was a Toyota Camry while mine got repairs. My own car has crank-up windows and manual seats. I keep most of my cars for a decade or more and the windows and seats have rarely ever failed. I dread thinking what would happen if the electric seat failed to work and it got stuck in a position where you could not drive safely. It is already offensive enough when power windows can get stuck open in a snow storm or rain storm or stuck shut when it's hot outside. It enrages me to find that they do not make vehicles with crank-up windows anymore. The power seats are even more degrading and outrageous. I could not get them adjusted to make me comfortable. Not only this but power seats are obnoxiously slow while manual seats adjust in a split second. The power windows and seats were put in by a manufacturer who's broadcasting their low opinion of me and others who dislike modern cars with features they do not want or need. These features made me feel so unsafe that I drove directly home and did not use the car to go anywhere except back to pick up my car. I did not dare open my window for fear of it getting stuck in the down position which has happened to me before. I was even more offended that anyone would force me to put up with these electric seats which are inferior to manual seats. I think most auto mechanics should offer you a choice between manual and electric seats and windows but I did not dare tell them for fear of sounding rude. In years past, Toyota has been my car brand of choice. Now I see that they're being obnoxious by adding electric seats, windows and doors. Gone are the days when I car was like a home away from home. I can not find any now that are not expensive trash. In a magazine I saw in the 70s there was an article entitled "Power Windows Customer Need or Corporate Greed." I do not see any honest discussion about this anymore except for numerous customer complaints all over the web.

I’m on my 6th Toyota. I have a 2010 Tacoma as well. Toyota cars and trucks are so well made and aside from normal maintenance, they have NEVER failed me! I’m a die hard Toyota fan….so freaking reliable!

This is my 3rd Camry and 8th Toyota, all have been solid vehicles. I enjoy the comfort, the safety devices and the entertainment system.
