Camry lives up to reputation
This car runs better now than when it had 20,000 miles. It held its value and I am always being asked if I want to sell it and I can't let it go yet anyway. Great bang for the buck especially in this economy. Buy one you'll love it; this 4 cylinder blows away many American 4 and 6 cyl of the same year. You wont regret it.
Great Car
I bought this car new and have put 190,000 trouble free miles on it. It does not even burn any oil between changes. I have done just the routine maintenance and replaced wear and tear items as needed. A few signs of age have cropped up lately, notably bad valve stem seals and front upper strut plates, but who can complain after nearly 200,000 miles? Get that kind of service from an American car? Doubt it.
Still running strong despite ME!
I have really enjoyed this car. Nice blend of qualities rather than strong in one area. Performs great, looks fine, comfortable. The V6 has enough power to be fun but it can't beat a Ferrari! Well, I did once probably because my friends and I just scared the dude! LOL!
Great except for Brakes and seats
I'm a Realtor and drive constantly. Between 25-30K a year. Love the car except I've had to replace the brakes about every 10,000 miles. I've talked with 3 brake stores and all say that is a problem on this year and model. Something to do with the brake caliper not releasing all the way and constantly rubbing. I just take it back every few months for my new pads (under lifetime warranty) new calipers to fix it are around $1,000. Seats for sure and uncomfortable. Terrible adjustments. Other than the brakes I run this car in the ground and it just keeps going.
Very Happy with My Second Camry
I have never had a single problem with either of my Camry's, and the ride and interior are so comfortable and capable. I'm always astonished when I see someone buy an unreliable car in the same class, and then having to deal with break downs. Stupid is a stupid does! My first Camry is over at 130,000 miles with not even the slightest problem, and I'm going to drive it to 250!
