Used 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Toyota Quality Not What It Used To Be
I bought the Hybrid XLE, fully loaded model. Technology that you pay thousands for either doesn't work or require a monthly subscription, at about $800 per year. Leather seats are cheap feeling reconstituted leather, my previous Camry was full grain. Analog and digital displays. Heads up display ($cha-ching$) not usable during the day. Radar assisted cruise control is really nice. Collision avoidance system goes off for no apparent reason, scares the hell out of me. Better traction battery placement making more trunk space than previous model years. Super thin paint, dealer put a small scratch that required one whole side to be repainted a week after I bought it (my biggest issue). I try to keep my cars for 10+ years, I have a feeling this one's not going to make it. I've only had it a few months and it already has spent more time at the dealer than my 2008 Camry.

Camry SE Hybrid loaded
Look for the wheels on the SE model. Have had the car 3 weeks and absolutely recommend test driving before you buy an Accord Hybrid. Car is averaging 48.7 mpg after 1175 miles; but we have owned hybrids before and you learn to drive them. Car feels spacious and love the technology and the intuitive design.

A Lexus With A Simple Interface
My parents have a Lexus ES 350 (V6 non-hybrid). My XLE has the same smooth, quiet ride and is equally as comfortable as the ES, but without the annoying touchpad/mouse controls for the radio, navigation, and AC/heat. It's slightly shorter as well making it easier to park. I love the hybrid engine. It will stay in battery-only mode up to 20-25 mph making it great for city traffic. Highway ride is the smoothest of any car I've owned. The transition between electric and gas is seamless. I have to watch the display to notice when the engine turns on. And this car is shockingly fast. Obviously as a hybrid owner I don't drive with the pedal to the metal, but did floor it once to see what it had. I could not believe the power. This car has more acceleration than you would ever need or use. I love the style of the car as well. It's no longer boring and nondescript. It's lower and wider than previous versions, yet not as low as Accords I've owned that effected entry and exit. Overall, this is an excellent car. I have no complaints nor anything I would suggest changing.

Excellent Car
This car has exceeded my expectations. This my 5th Camry hybrid and I would say it is the best. I consistently get 48+ miles/gallon on the highway and around 50 in town which is higher than advertised. The car is comfortable and the quality is up to Toyota standards.
