Digital woes
The engine and performance are great. Dealing with the electronics and displays will leave you in tears. The apps won't install/ update, the usb port won't charge your Samsung phone, the trunk remote works about a third of the time, lane sense is only adequate, no hd radio, lower sound package leaves plrnty to be desired. Also, enjoy the wonderful hub caps, lack of backseat charging, air, etc. Wuff.

Still New and Hopeful
I'm holding to the thought of Still New & Hopeful because I've not hit the EPA rated MPG yet which according to reviews I should have exceeded. I've had the car 3 weeks now with nearly 950 miles doing a lot of highway but days when it's more city sometimes too. I have come from a Toyota Echo which I've had for 14 years this October! Refused to get away from that car because of it's fairly consistent 40 MPG! When I read that the Camry Hybrid LE was EPA rated at 52 combined I started planning for this car. At this point I'm averaging 45 MPG which beats my Echo, not to mention that everything on this Camry is like twice the size of the Echo with it's standard stick shift. We've had also two of the Toyota Highlander, and more recently the Rav4. All have been great cars from a comfort and low cost to maintain standpoint in respect to their size and type. I'm just wondering why it is taking me this long to achieve the 52 mpg combined rating? And yes I'm 95% of the time in Eco Mode. The car drives incredibly smoothly and I'm enamored with all the safety features which I have exactly all of them! 1st day coming off the highway off ramp the cars were stacked up and the Camry put on the brakes a moment before I did...-impressive! 2nd day going to work, I went to merge into the left lane with no one behind and it rattled the steering wheel and beep beep beeped at me. I didn't realize that it was detecting lane departure without a turn signal so thought perhaps I was falling asleep or not paying attention! Now I use the turn signal even if no one is behind me to let the Camry know it is my intention to leave the lane. Even my passenger noticed the yellow icon in the side mirror letting us know that a car was coming up from behind and entered the blind spot which by the way, is a savior because now I don't have to crank my neck around like in the Exorcist to see if it's clear! The back up camera has the bendy (steering) yellow guide along with the blue solid frame line which took me a couple days to get used to because the Rav4 didn't have the bendy (steering) one. It has also warned me of a potential pedestrian in front or in back of me and again I was impressed. Of course it was just a matter of time before cruise control would get taken over by tech and automatically let up if another car comes within its zone of safety. I knew that it didn't have built-in GPS before I bought it but it doesn't mean that I still don't wish it had it or could display Google Waze & Google Maps on the display via bluetooth from my phone. I like the Toyota Connect feature (optional to subscription to use) as it tells you via your phone the status (windows / doors / moonroof open - closed -locked). You can locate it if stolen. But my favorite feature via the phone app is being able to start the car on a cold morning and warm it up while defrosting the windows. This is a very cool optional feature but I won't be using it in the summer obviously. There is also a Toyota Owners app that can tell you when the Camry needs maintenance and you can schedule it via the app with your dealership. The app also gives you the manuals and warranty info. My Echo had impressive trunk space for a compact car. The 2018 Camry has impressive space as well and it also has 60/40 fold down seats for those really long items from Lowes or Home Depot. I like that you can just walk up to the car's trunk with your groceries and just above the license plate area, give it a touch and the trunk opens. Also the front doors open and lock with just your hand from the outside. No more key scratches around the door handle, yeah! The front seats are comfy. Haven't tried the rear but there is more space than I imagined just looking at it. Ordered it with factory installed door edge guards. These are far far better than the aftermarket kind. Also ordered the all weather floor mat package which includes a trunk tray. They are sized exactly for a custom fit and they look quite nice. I also got a spoiler for the trunk but there seems to be a supply problem? I don't have it yet. Guess the Georgetown KY Toyota plant doesn't make those on-site. Oh speaking of the Kentucky plant which by-the-way is the largest Toyota plant in the world! That is why they say it is a Japanese car made in the USA with very large percentage of it's parts made in the U.S. and also within the plant itself. It is the most American made foreign car in the United States! I have been there to tour the plant twice now in the past 5 years or so. Toyota infused $1.33 Billion dollars for the equipment to make the 2018 Camry at the Kentucky site and also hired an additional 750 employees! They already make the Camry there but the 2018 is a complete redesign. My boss parked her car, a 2016? Camry next to mine and they look nothing and I mean nothing alike. Plus mine looks so much bigger and more "svelte" in it's design. An associate wants his wife an RN to get this as her next car. Give me the MPG & I'll be 100% :-)

Great Mileage - HORRIBLE COMPUTER SYSTEM!
One of the main reasons I purchased this car was for the navigation system and it hasn't worked in months. Toyota and Apple can't get their act together and have no idea of when it will start working. Such a huge bummer. I would have chosen an entirely different Hybrid vehicle if I had known it wasn't going to work as advertised. I am so disappointed I can't rate even the features I love about this car higher than a 3 star rating.

Very bad MPH!!! Beware!
I am writing this review to inform others of my situation and possibly someone can shed some light into the problem that i am having. I bought the 2018 Camry LE model for the gas mileage advertised. Period. So this specific model, the LE, is advertised at 51mpg city and 53 mpg highway. For the first three months, i was getting 51 mph, as advertised. I was using the car in Eco mode; i wouldn't accelerate fast or break fast... very grandmotherly driving so to speak. After three months, mpg were starting to drop. Granted it was late October and weather in Chicago was starting to drop. Long story short: i am getting 33mpg starting from November!!! (i thought it was the instrument panel underestimating it, but i've started to write down the miles and did the math myself; my numbers were exactly written on the instrument panel) Why??? I understand that i've started to use the heat in the car and the car engine turns on more frequently, but that is the ONLY variable that has changed. My driving has not changed. Still in ECO mode and driving like my great-grandma now... This is my main concern. Just to add to this review what others have said, Entune is an absolute joke, and now since beginning of December Toyota announced that it's taken Pandora from the list of apps on the pre-installed apps on the car. WHY?? Futhermore, the breaking will literally make you go insane, but that's okay for me because my wife tells me i'm insane already. The breaking, if you have not experienced this, is not smooth at low speeds. For some reason, it somehow catches and breaks harder than intended, and really jerks the whole car, and passengers, in a violently brusquely way. Hope my long review helps, and like i said, maybe someone can respond as to why i am getting 33 mpg. Thank you
