Excited to Buy, Sad to Own
What I didn’t know: The paint is soft, as in, so soft that if you take it through a car wash - even with soft scrubbers - you will have swirl marks in the paint. Additionally, the paint will chip away with every rock that touches the car. Very noticeable if you get a color paint. The seats are very uncomfortable. May have been designed by engineers who have severe head-forward posture and are unable to recognize how uncomfortable the seats are for those with normal posture. Suspension is so stiff and the headrests are so uncomfortable that on any uneven surface (any road not freshly paved), the headrest will hit your head with force. The “automatic” wipers are anything but. That should not have been a tough bar to cross, as most companies have been successfully making automatic wipers for decades. The interior is cheap, and marks up/frays quickly. Essentially, it’s the car you get when engineers who don’t know how to design cars or how to properly drive cars are given free rein. The Autopilot/FSD software drives like a bad 16-year old driver who didn’t take a driving class. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a much better choice value-wise for what you’ll spend on a Tesla. I will say, the charging network is good.

Shame on Tesla
This is my third and last Tesla. I just pick up my car and I was surprised when I try to park my car in the garage that no parking aid. I thought it was turn off to realize later that the car does NOT have parking sensors anymore. Just as you trying to save $150 on the parking sensors for the car that worth more than 60K. Shane on you Tesla! This is my last Tesla to own and I’m glad it is lease.

Not Worth for the Price.
I bought Tesla Model Y last month. The overall experience of the car is not great. Don’t make your decision based on price cuts. Here are the things I noticed. Pros - Good acceleration you will notice. Cons - Panel gap issues which cannot be fixed and door closing issues which are not addressed. - Battery range is Joke. I leave in Pennsylvania there will be 50-60 miles degradation for the number of miles you charged. - Cheap Interiors. - Road noise is very high. May be it is designed just for internal roads. - Door designed is not great which contributes to road noise. - Need to have efficient blind spot monitoring than just cameras which are not great. - Poor auto wipers usage. I cannot change speed when I have to use it suddenly. May be they have to move wipers system out of screen. - The trunk is bigger but the way they designed the door is horrible. They compromised too much space because of style. As a user I don’t want that much huge door. - The back mirrors are not that convinent because of trunk door design. - I got peed myself while using auto steer beta option. It dropped the speed from 75 miles to 45 miles while changing lanes. Thank god I don’t have any vehicles behind. If there was truck then I will be gone for sure. I change my Mind using any of Drive options which left me with just regular battery car. For just buying battery car we have very good options coming along in luxury vehicles. I don’t have to buy Tesla for it as any of auto drive options are not usable with confidence. Overall very bad experience with the vehicle.

Worst suv I’ve ever had
Took it to tow my jetski only once and water got in to the rear drivetrain. Tesla in Irvine ca sneaked $4000 to replace it and it wasn’t even the problem. The vehicle is so poorly constructed that by towing my single trailer jetski only once, it messed up both of the rear wheel bearings . Don’t go near any Tesla if you want to tow with it. I have 2 teslas and I regret buying both of them. The insurance is higher as well. Elon go home! I’m going back to gas!
