I have driven my long range model Y for 2 months and according to site it should drive 326 miles, but normally it should drive 260-270 miles on full charge, but my car drives maximum 200 miles per full charge. I drove with completely shut off climate control, with out any passenger etc but it will drive only 200 miles. So, I do not recommend it, it would be better to but hybrid Acura which gives almost 50 mile/gl

We did a fair amount of research (mostly watching YouTube videos) prior to purchase. It is the first electric car we have owned and it impresses. Faster than my G37, as practical as my MDX. Free charging stations in town make the true cost to own better than any true competitor. Find a car this fast with this much practicality, and it will cost much more. Black on black with 20 inch wheels. Added tint and paint protection for the front bumper. Fit and finish is very good on this car. No issues so far. Love the speed, handling, and not using gas! Update 11/30/23: Wheels and tires are an issue. I would get the smaller wheel if were to buy again. Ride quality, cost, and efficiency are all worse with 20 inch wheels. Tires don’t even last 20k miles. 2024 Update: overall this car has held up well. Range is consistently 20-30% less than advertised, but we can supercharge on trips and go anywhere we want. The main issue I don’t like is the way Elon has changed. I used to feel good about the company and no longer do. I will only buy electric cars but this will be my last Tesla.

I have waited for my Model Y until they got over their early quality issues and it was absolutely worth the wait. Took Delivery of my LR all black color MY Oct 7. This is engineering excellence at its peak and gives me totally magical driving experience. I feel as though I am traveling in a studio auditorium—I live it. A few very minor interior issues which have been quickly corrected by mobile tech. Got the acceleration upgrade and this thing flies! I find any excuse to go drive!

I purchased a performance Y, VIN 98xx. Initial quality was good but needed to schedule a service appointment to fix wind noise on front passenger side and to fix some scratches on inside panels. Service took 2 days and was supplied a loaner model S. Overall happy with the service. I don’t think there is a car in this price range that touches the performance of the Y. It feels much sportier and lighter than most sedans and suvs on the market. Having no maintenance to worry about and it being cheaper than gas to drive is also a plus. Resale value looks better than most other vehicles as well. Oh, and navigate on autopilot is a dream on highways and road trips. I use it about 75% of total driving time. Have not had any issues with it, and it feels strange driving a gas vehicle at high speeds now. I recommend getting a model Y and think the quality issues are getting much better. You might need to schedule a service appointment to make things perfect, but my experience with Tesla service has been better than I have had at Audi and BMW.

First time having Tesla, model Y in early August 2020. Got to go back few times, each time couple days for services. They never come as “mobile service “ stated. Could not even order a loaner in advance. Tesla policy! Not cool to deal with no car for few days even though Uber offered. Never experienced a brand new car with such issues and such bad customer service. Missed owning a Mercedes which feel a lot more luxurious treat.
