Two weeks after purchasing the model X part of the applique between falcon wings flew off the car on the 417 in florida i was driving 75 mph. It has now been a week and the service department is telling me they cant locate replacement part as this supposedly has never happened before. Cant drive the car if its raining cant really wash the car good cause the peice that flew off covers the wires and cables thst work the falcon doors so obviously they cant get wet so the car is virtually useless

A 3-in-1 Vehicle!

We have one of the original Model X's, a 2016 P90DL Signature Performance. It is a phenomenal vehicle, but of course, all good things must have issues... right? Well, yes. We tend to keep this car's mileage relatively low, and right now its about 25k miles, for a 2016! At around 23k, we had to replace the falcon door latch, and a sensor (which wasn't SO expensive). This is basically our only issue in the many years we've owned it. This vehicle is amazing, it's fast (which the kids love), practical (amazing for Costco hauls LOL), and very safe (the Tesla Autopilot feature is exceptional, it is especially handy for long road trips and everyday freeway commuting). My favorite things about the car are the giant windshield, the very convenient falcon wing doors (which the kids also love), and the amount of storage space throughout the entire car. Now, onto speed. I absolutely adore the Ludicrous Speed Upgrade option, which is amazing for having fun with the kids in my family. When I'm not using Ludicrous, I tend to have it set to sport. (There are four speed options: Chill, Sport, Ludicrous, and Ludicrous+ (Max Battery Power)) The sport setting is quick and zippy, perfect for overtaking on the freeway and weaving through traffic. I am also very obsessed with the Signature Red (PPSR) paint color, which only recently I found out that it is exclusive to the Signature Line! Overall, this vehicle is perfect for many families, for those who value either looks, performance, practicality, or all 3!

We bought our 2016 Model X 90D used when it was 4 years old with 29,000 miles on it. The previous dealt with all of the door misalignments. He also took meticulous care of the vehicle. We've had it for six months now and absolutely love the vehicle. It's incredibly comfortable and easy to enter and exit. The technology is well beyond other car manufactures. Think of it as buying a new iPhone. You essentially control everything from the screen once you set it all up, the vehicle does everything automatically based on location and driver. Our screen crashed/locked up several times in the first couple of months but we haven't had any issues lately. Tesla actually came out with a recall to upgrade the memory chip on the display, so hopefully that will fix it for good. The only other issue we have is the passenger seat heat, bottom cushion, doesn't seem to be warming anymore. The lumbar definitely heats up though. Tesla wants to replace the entire seat but since it's not under warranty, we'll be waiting. One of the things I love most about our Model X is when some punk pulls up next to me in his souped up rig and thinks he's going to gun it and get in front of me. I've embarrassed several young men trying to impress their buddies/girlfriends while I smoke them with a family of 6. Love it!

We’ve owned the model x for over 2 years . I was reading the reviews, and some people that gave 1 or 2 stars are just haters . there is no car like it or even close to it . From the technology to phone app, this car is just smart and easy to use . You find out more and more as you use it . If you hate iPhone and like Motorola then this car is not for you . Get an F150 and stop hating .
