BEST CAR EVER
I love this car!!! I was going to buy a Jeep grand Chereokee, because I wanted something I could put my bike and my surfboard into, and still go on business meetings. After I compared the true cost of ownership over 5-10 years, this car beat it. Now I believe this car beats most ICE cars for 10 years +, in affordability. I paid 64k after rebates. I hear there are only about 4 moving parts in the entire drive train, including the pedal, and the wheels, vs. 100s of moving, breaking parts in an ICE car. I heard that the motor lasts about 1 million miles, and the battery is averageing about 500k miles, and I would expect no other major problems, since there isn't much to break. Considering a second one now!

The car has panel gaps, sold it.
It drives well and quiet. It is electric, if it is not quiet, there is a big problem. The battery depletes fast if you super-charge it often. I am an electric engineer. These batteries are not the best. They are not solid state batteries. People who buy these Teslas and super-charge them often will see most likely 20% reduction in range by year 8. However, I love the fact that it is electric since I want to do away from imported oil. I bought the Tesla because I owned Tesla stocks. I sold Tesla stocks and sold my car due to the fact that its service is really horrible at times. You do not get a call back from them for days if you do not push them. There is no said day of fixing up your panel gaps due to they don't even have any extra panels. And, I had missing paint in my car body which Tesla has already refused to fix saying it is "within specs". So, if you want to buy a Tesla, you have to be contended with misalignment of body panels and may be missing paint. One of the leather seats has a scratch of about 7 inches. It took Tesla 6 monhts to fix it for me. The quality is really inferior to other Germany cars. Also, there is still no true Autopilot yet. The so-called autonomous driving features available now is no more than a level 2 drivers' assist program. So, those who call this Autopilot need to check their knowledge first. It is not a bad car, but it is not the greatest I have driven. There are more electric cars to choose from nowadays. No need to get just Tesla anymore.

Best car I've ever driven
0-60 in 4 seconds, AWD, self-driving (mostly on highways), massive trunk space and frunk space up front, great stereo sound, sunroof and moon roof so the entire roof is glass. Oh yeah, and fart noise (thanks Elon)! In retrospect, I should've probably waited and bought a 2018 because of the full self-driving technology that is available for those models and up. The 2016 has auto-drive on the highway as long as there are lines on the road. Otherwise self-drive is useless. Summon is hardly ever used as well since it can only go back or forward. It doesn't actually park itself. Regardless, I love this car and look forward to driving it every single day.
