Used 2006 Subaru Legacy Sedan Consumer Reviews
SPEC B is the car to buy
I was comparing the A4 3.1, 330Xi, and the Legacy GT. I came home with the Spec B for $7-8K less money and very similar performance and comfort. Admittedly, the interior and luxury is a bit better in the A4 and Bimmer, but this is a great buy! Test drive the GT and you'll see. It is a great drive, fun and responsive.
First new car
This is my first NEW car. I saw it driving one day about 9 months ago and knew I had to get one. It's definitely a fun car to drive. The only bad thing I can think of is I have a squeaky drivers seat, but besides that I love it.
Instant Love Affair
The moment I saw the car I fell in love with it. Traded in my 2005 Impreza on it. Build quality is great. Subaru thought this one out well in advance -- they didn't leave much to be desired in an exceptionally valued car. Crawl underneath it and you'll see how nicely everything is tucked in. Easier than my 2003 Jetta to work on by far. This is the third Subaru I purchased this year, and have been happy with all of them.
WOW! I can't wait to drive to work
What a car. Subaru as created a vehicle with attitude that doesn't flaunt it. I spent a year considering this new car purchase and I'm very pleased with my decision. This is a fast car with jet like g-producing acceleration. The interior is very nicely executed. The "cockpit" is a pilot's dream. The red instrumentation and electroluminescent dash are very comfortable for night driving. I'm glad I got the 5 speed gear box, the AT just shifts bizarrely. 60 MPH in 2nd gear, you bet. Don't buy this car for your teenager unless you like paying their speeding tickets! Fuel consumption runs at the lower end of the EPA ratings. Switch the display over to instantaneous MPG to get a real scare.
2006 SUBARU LEGACY 2.5L SPECIAL EDITION
I've only owned Subarus and this is my 4th Subaru. I have to tell you that the 06 Legacy has been my favorite. It is one of the best body designs out there. Handling, quality and fun to drive.
