If you're researching this vehicle, you don't need my opinion on it, right? Well, I'll give it to you anyway. 100% fun. Great seating position. The layout of the redesigned dashboard is great. All the trick gadgets are mostly on the driver's side so your passengers won't futz with much while you're trying to drive. This car has incredible power and wonderful driving dynamics. The shifting is crisp yet smooth and there's more torque than you know what to do with. Gas mileage isn't the best, but when you're having this much fun, who cares?!

This vehicle is unapologetically very fast and has a very aggressive road presence. This is a road going rally car, and as so all the intelligence lacking buttons in the cabin it has in performance. For the 2005 Wrx Sti comes standard with fully active LSD and ABS monitoring AWD, front/rear torque adjusting center differential with 4×4 locking, water spraying intercooler, differential heat monitoring, Brembo performance braking, 17 inch BBS wheels, Sti tuned suspension, adjustable shift light, a shorter-ratio 6 speed standard transmission, 4 way adjustable HID low beams, bucket seats, an aluminum alloy 2.5 liter flat 4 cylinder equipped with an IHI VF39 turbo producing 300hp @6000rpms 14 psi boost pressure from the factory 0-60 in 4.6 seconds. This is not for taking your mom to breakfast or grocery getting, but makes a great weekend driver or track day monster.

The car drives like it is on rails, and has almost limitless power. The torque is amazing compared to my old 99 Honda Civic Si. The STi is an amazing machine. I am still in awe. People look at me like I'm a rock star.

Excellent power range and handling. I have a neck injury that is somewhat aggravated if I'm in the car for more than two hours. The car attracts more attention than I had counted on but the majority is positive. I used to drive 5- 10 mph over the speed limit, I now go at the limit or 5 mph under. The noise level is livable. Ergonomics are excellent. I'm 6'3, 190# and I have no problem getting in or out of the car. There are several seating positions that I find comfortable. The back seat is big enough for two adults. The paint is very hard which makes it scratch easily, the trunk is spacious, gas mileage is about 20 mpg.

I traded an '03 Acura RSX Type S for this car, what a change! Where the RSX was an indiffenent performer in the upper gears, the STI gives each one its own personality. I have the short throw shifter, which is stiff and notchy compared to the RSX, but when you punch it in 3d or 4th, WOW! Surprisingly, I think the boxer engine is smoother than the Acura's, so much so that I enjoy holding it in the mid to upper rev range - and what a great sound it makes! The ride is stiff, almost overly so, but there's more noise insulation than in the RSX, so it's actually quieter. Fortunately the roads around Tucson are mostly asphalt. The cornering is phenomenal, I
