Used 2004 Scion xB Consumer Reviews
scion xb
i really like the way my scion looks and feels when i drive it. also, the gas mileage is great
xB....A PRETTY GOOD BUY.
I ORDERED THE xB IN JUNE AND FINALLY HAD THE DEALER FINISHING PUTTING OPTIONS IN IT BY MID AUGUST. I DON'T THINK THEY HAD ALL OF THE BUGS WORKED OUT OF THE DISTRIBUTION NETWORK AT THE TIME. AS FAR AS THE CAR, I AM VERY HAPPY ABOUT IT. LOTS OF ROOM (ESPECIALLY THE REAR SEAT LEG ROOM). PERFORMANCE IS ADEQUATE FOR A CAR OF THIS TYPE AND SIZE. ON A TRIP TO THE GRAND CANYON FROM CALIFORNIA WE AVG. 35 MILES PER GALLON. CLIMBING SOME OF THE 6% GRADES REQUIRED TURNING OFF THE OVERDRIVE, BUT THEN YOU COULD KEEP UP WITH EVERYONE @ ABOUT 70 - 80 M.P.H.. AROUND TOWN MILEAGE USUALLY RUNS AROUND 25 M.P.G.

A compact car as big as an SUV inside
I cannot begin to tell you how shocking it is to sit in this little car, you have more space inside than most SUVs on the market... and the car gets 30 mpg! The 1.5L motor has plenty of power (I have an automatic) and can easily pass cars on the freeway if you want. There is probably more rear seat room in this car than any other car on the market. You heard me... ANY other car. It is also super easy to get in and out of the seat hieght is just right. The car is built to the highest quality standard I have ever seen. Pure 100% Toyota quality through and through ... not sure why they call it a Scion, Toyota name would have been better.
Rattles fixed/MPG gets better?
Rattles from the dash took two visits to fix! CD player keeps skipping here and there for no apparant reason (audio cds). The rear bumper looks uneven, but I will worry about that later while under warranty.
