Used 2017 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Consumer Reviews
Keeps on going
This is my third ram 1500. I got the sport four-wheel-drive with the hemi motor aside from maintenance things breaks rotors bearings, etc. there’s been no issues I am at 205,000 miles and county daily driver still rides and looks like brand new.

Trash the ram is trash
I know I know I did the same thing as you, seeing a 17 and 18 rams hemi with high reliable reviews on many sites well here is the truth.. The trans is Ganna fail. No doubt I went through 2 one at 108k and 1 at 120k there's some bs right there Now at 120 and change here right after the trans the motor needs replaced Do yourself a favor and buy a Chevy. Or do your research and get a good year and engine ford. The ram truck is a disappointment I paid 15k for this truck and have sunk almost as much in repairs. You will find similar experiences on YouTube and if u look through reviews you'll also find similarities. It's simply not worth the gamble if your getting a good one that will run 200k reliably Or if you get a bad bath probably 40% of the production line Just don't buy a ram This truck is a hemi with the 8 speed the site won't let me select correct trim Don't buy it!!!!!!

Transition is Junk
Hemi 8cyc Bighorn Transmission has a coolent system that leaks and causes transmission replacements. Junk! Don’t buy. Dealership and RAM offered no support. Only had 74,000 miles on the truck. Quality issues with transmission and brake calibers are crap.

Great truck for the money spent
Bought this Ram 1500 Express new in spring 2017. Basic truck without a lot of options. Could not find anything near this nice for the price. Window sticker was $42K and I bought it for $31K. It got fairly good mileage (around 19-20 MPG) on average, rode really nice for a truck and was enjoyable to drive. This one had the 5.7L Hemi V8 and the performance was very good. Great for hauling stuff and good on trips. Overall, a really nice riding truck that was a good deal.

Excellent truck
I have had a ford F150, Chevy Silverado, and my work vehicle is a GMC Sierra. I have say that the 2017 Ram quad cab that I recently purchased with 17,500 miles is HANDS DOWN THE BEST TRUCK with the 5.7 hemi. I have the ram boxs and tonneau cover which is definitely a must have. I have a 26ft travel trailer camper and I can't wait to I pull it with my ram. My Chevy Silverado could only pull up to 5,500lbs with the 4.8 liter V8. The ram is rated to pull up to 8, 210lbs. Which is a huge difference. If you are going to pull anything close to 5,000lbs or more don't make the same mistake, check out the ram line up. I wasted so much time when I should have bought a ram in the beginning with the hemi.
