2023+ Ram 1500 Classic is now rated more reliable than Toyota Tundra by Consumer Reports, for the first ever in history. It will continue for 2024 as well. This is due to the new Toyota Tundra's redesign that switches to a 3.4L twin-turbo V6 with direct-injection now, which drops its durability rating now significantly. Ram 1500 Classic still only has a 3.6L non-turbo V6 with fuel-injection only. Great time to buy now, and you can now save up to $20,000 off with Ram instead of going with Toyota, depending on trims and options. Go Japanese doesn't mean more reliability anymore, and times have changed now.
