There is just something about that Porsche purr…This thoroughbred can run! The Macan lives up to the Porsche brand. Went old school & ordered the walnut trim in the interior (no charge). One of nice things about Porsches is you can order to your specific wants. I am definitely sold on the brand, & will be a repeat buyer…great experience w/no regrets. Update: Feb 2025 & continue to be impressed with this automobile. Absolutely no problems. Porsche’s commitment to automobile excellence has sold me on the brand!

Excellent performance. Super fast and glued to the road. Storage capacity is adequate for my needs (despite it being cited as a negative for this vehicle). Bought it used, dealer certified, essentially as good as new. Was lucky to find a car loaded with all of the options close to home (after searching nationwide on Edmunds for over a year).

For a 4 cylinder it’s unbelievable fast. The base is less than a 10th of a second slower than the twin turbo Macan S.

Down shifting missing in my Macan S 2021

In auto or manual mode my downshift paddle shifters gears 5 thru 1 do not slow the vehicle. The engine revs and the RPM’s increase but the transmission doesn’t engage to slow the vehicle.
