Two Touaregs & a Cayenne. I’m a diesel guy!
All 3 diesel SUV have been or are fantastic vehicles to own & drive. I’m currently averaging about 36 mpg at highway speeds. The quality of the ride is truly outstanding due to the driver selectable Air suspension. Additionally, living in a flood prone area of New Orleans, I have found it extremely useful to have a selectable ride height allowing the vehicle to drive through two feet of flood waters with no problems. The interior on the Porsche Cayenne without equal in today’s crop of SUV’s. I love my Cayenne turbo diesel!

Car for a lifetime.....
I have nothing but good to say about my Porsche Cayenne GTS. Great ride, great sound, great interior. The paint is holding up, had it treated a couple of years ago and it still looks like new. 2/23/22: All-time favorite car. Just made a 1,400-mile trip to Arizonia and back. Averaged 77 mph and 21 mpg. . . that's with 3 adults in the car and luggage. Yes, speeding but I was keeping with traffic on highway 5 which means 85 mph, and no one pays attention to the speed limit in AZ. At 85 mph it was smooth, comfortable, and very controlled. Finally had to sell my Cayenne. Age is catching up with me and I needed something that had radar etc. to help me at night and in heavy traffic. Got a Mustang Mach-E and it lives up to all the press. Still miss my Porsche, but sold it to someone that will take proper care of it.

Fun!
Purchased a 2014 platinum edition with 62300 miles in December 2021. Had it for about 3 months now and so far so good. Drives very smooth and acceleration is top notch makes long commutes fun and handles very well. Also has a quite interior and lots of room.

Best all around vehicle I've owned
I have owned my Cayenne diesel for 2 years. Around town, it's a pleasure to drive with ample room for 2 kids, 2 dogs, and groceries. If I want to have some fun on the back roads, I put it in sport mode and let it eat up the turns. Around town, I'm getting 27-30 mpg. I just got back from a 2500 mile road trip. I drove 863 miles the first day with no stiffness or soreness averaging 74 mph, getting 34-35 mpg and going almost 700 miles on one tank of diesel! It's the perfect vehicle if you need an SUV but also love driving country roads and want to do some long trips. It also does great in snow and rain with different driving modes. I only wish they offered a manual model.

Cayenne diesel
I can never seem to be able to change the clock. Otherwise I have about 100,000 miles, and it has given very good service. I will probably keep it for a while yet
