All around, good solid vehicle
I purchased this car because I wanted a good driving, good performing sedan. That's what I bought ten years ago and that's what I still have. I have driven this car countless times on long rode trips exceeding 600 miles, driven with six people in the car comfortably, and even loaded it up a few times to go to some good camp sites. It still blows out cold air from the AC, and can still pick up the speed when needed. The only problems I have had with the car have been minor electrical ones. The driver window will get stuck if rolled down all the way, headlight switch became loose once and could not operate the headlights, and the alternator has needed to be replaced twice.
A Tank
I owned this beast of an automobile for 5 years. In these 5 years I had the time of my life driving this hunk of steel through mayhem. I have been in a few accidents in my lifetime. I have drifted in this car, i have ran over curbs sideways in this car and even plowed down a traffic sign in this car with not one scratch. Believe me when i tell you, this is not your ordinary car, it is definately a TANK. I was only in one car accident with this car in which a driver rear ended me tearing their entire bumper and headlights off. Not a scratch on my end. Not to mention the accidental time i took a detour through Baltimore Maryland and caught 2 bullets in the passenger side door. The police told me i was lucky, but i dont believe in luck. I believe in the ugly hunk of steel named the Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. It is moderately comfortable with almost living room couch like seating, and a sway cieling fabric that is sure to droop as the glue wears off. But style isnt what the Ciera is about. If you want to drive a brick that will most certainly demolish any obsticles in its path then the Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera is your best bet.

i hate to part with it
I got this car for my 16th birthday. It's great for Young drivers very easy to drive. But agreeing with other reviews it's age is catching up with it. Needs a little more attention than I can provide. It's been extremely reliable over the last 4 years though. I love this car but it's time for me to get something newer.
great ride
i bought this car for $500 with 189,000 miles on it. the wheel bearing was bad and it needed a tune up. normal wear and tear. the 3.1 v6 is impressive for the miles it has on it. i ran it with 1 quart of oil with that had some gas in it and it still got up and went without a problem! once i discovered what was wrong, i got it fixed and this car doesn't quit. it starts every morning without a problem. it rides so smooth like it glides across the road. it was even smooth at 100mph. this is an all around great car and it will pretty much run forever
Cutlass
It has been a wonderful car. It was stolen once but reupholstered completely. There has never been any major repairs.
