Used 2015 Nissan Sentra Sedan Consumer Reviews
Piece of Junk, horrible transmission.
Our family has always bought Nissan. We've purchased the Sentra, Titan, Frontier. This 2015 Sentra is a big disappointment. We've gone to dealership with trans problems 1 1/2 years ago and had to argue with them about what was happening. They said no codes show so they can't do anything. Vehicle would completely shut down on freeway and I couldn't drive over 30. I told dealer don't want it back till fixed. My wife is afraid to drive it and I don't blame her. Dealer replaced valve body and trans oil and it seemed to run OK for awhile. After hot weather last week my wife had the same problem again. Lack of power and get over 25 mph. Of course it's the CVT again. Thank God warranty extended to 84000 miles for CVT Trans. I'll be calling dealer today and bickering with them again. What a disappointing vehicle !! Worse than the Ford Pinto. How can there not of been a massive recall on this unsafe vehicle !!

After four years of ownership, this is a rock star
I was in the market for a used car. I bought this 2015 Nissan Sentra, base model, in 2017, for $10,500. Interestingly, today, it's worth $10,000. That's what I was offered on a trade in. But, all used cars these days seem to be priced higher than they would be without Covid. Still, not bad; it hasn't depreciated hardly at all. I bought it with 16,000 miles on it. Today, it has 44,000. The car had a few issues early on. I had to get the A/C fan replaced. And the brake system had to have repairs as well. Both those failures occurred within the original warranty. Since then, I've had no issues whatsoever. Sure, it's a small engine, so you can't expect much there. But I get about 27 mpg around town (Los Angeles), and about 45 mpg on the freeway. Otherwise, the cabin and trunk are both roomy and comfortable. The car has exceeded my expectations for reliability and cost of ownership. I can sincerely recommend without reservation.

Death trap
I would give this car negative stars if possible. Transmission started going bad 2 years in. After replacing it with a new transmission, it only lasted 14000 miles and the warranty only covered 12000 miles. How convenient! I can't wait to sign up for the class action law suit
Solid Car
Economy car. Great for commutes
