Used 2019 Nissan Rogue Consumer Reviews
Very Safe Vehicle
We were recently involved in a T-bone crash and our 2018 Rogue was spun around into a telephone pole. Had it not been for the side curtain airbags, our injuries would have been much worse. Due to the way our Rogue protected us, we replaced our totaled Rogue with a 2019 Rogue. Great vehicle!
Technology NOT friendly
I traded my 2019 Rogue SL after 8 months and only 2;300 miles. I hated the Sirius radio screen. Too jumbled up. Also my two favorite channels were BLOCKED. Ever try to get thru to Sirius? Forget it. I also didn’t like that the driver’s seat did not slide back until you opened the door. The heated seats rocker switch is located on the gear shift assembly in front of the console storage area........was always accidentally turning them on. The emergency locator on both key fobs stopped working after 5 months. The “Rogue” emblem piece on the back hatch that lifts to get to the subfloor was coming unglued. The entire technology package is definitely not user friendly. Got out of this car as soon as I could.

Horrible on snowy roads
The only reason I purchased a Nissan Rogue was to have an SUV that I could get around upstate NY in during the winter. I have top of the line snow tires on and this vehicle is horrible in the snow. I have driven many SUVs in upstate NY for the past 40 years and this is by far the worst. The awd never seems to be on and you can't drive more than 10 mph on snowy, slushy roads without the back end kicking out even with the useless AWD lock button on. There is a good 4-5 inches of snow on the roads in winter and you can't safely drive over 10 mph or make a turn going more than 5 mph. So the awd lock button is useless when everyone else is able to go 55 and you're struggling to do 26 and not get rear ended for driving so slow. I hate that you have no control over the AWD. It feels like it's in front wheel drive all the time on horrible roads and the back end is always kicking out. It says the awd will kick on when it feels the tires slip. If you lose traction and are sliding, you are already screwed and the awd kicking on is pointless at that time as you careen off the road. If you want this suv for dry roads, then it's great if you don't mind the loud transmission. I have had the 2019 Rogue since January 2020 and I can't wait to get rid of it. I will not drive it in another winter. I want to feel safe and not have to drive at a drastically slower speed than everyone else. You might as well be in a little car with bald tires. That's how this Rogue handles the road.
