Money Pit
Car is horrible. Every other month something is wrong with it. I still owe money, or I would immediately get rid of and buy a Toyota. The car is only 5 years old and shouldn't have these many problems. I bought in 2020. Alternator (2), severe oil leak, ac compressor, oxygen sensors is just a starting list. I have put a lot of money into this vehicle.

Great drive for great price
Price-Value very high in comparison with other vehicles in its class. Very nice ride, maneuverability, acceleration, great on snow (12 days of snow in past two weeks; no problem with Pathfinder). Very peppy, even on the mountain roads between home in N. Nevada back and forth to California.

Good, Good Good Good vibrations
Bought a 2018 Pathfinder replacing a 2005 Infinity QX56. A little downsizing. At 500 miles had to have one tire replaced for being out of round creating major vibration. At 6000 miles had all tires replaced by tire manufacturer due to constant vibration after several attempts to balance had failed. Still vibrates. Took it into dealership and was informed by service advisor that their Nissan Rep, who was visiting dealership that day, informed them that the vibration is a known characteristic of the vehicle and that if I placed Michelin tires on it it would cure the vibration. Nissan corporate informs me there is nothing they can do. Have test driven 2 other 2018 Pathfinders and they have same issue. Vibration is bad. Would not recommend this vehicle

Best vehicle I have ever bought.
I looked at one on a whim and it ticked all the boxes for us. I did an online check and saw that it is rated 15 out of 29 for 7 passenger SUVs. I have test drove nearly all of those 29 and this is the safest most sturdy feeling SUV I found. I love the 4x4 option and the tow package. I have the Platinum version and my children love the reclining and adjustable seating and the TVs in the headrests. It is a great vehicle. I wish I had bought one years ago. It is better than I ever expected and I will continue to purchase Nissan.
