Used 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum 4dr SUV 4WD (3.5L 6cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
Seven Years and still running perfect
I have been using Pathfinder Platinum for 7 years and it has no issues. I kept it maintained regularly with the original nissan dealer. Transmission, engine and driveline everything is running good so far. I read some reviews saying it skids on turns, it only happens when 4x4 is on because when turning with 4x4 all wheels works same speed and their turning radius is different.

Good when its working
Our 2014 Pathfinder is great - when its working. However, the reliability since we've owned it has been horrible. It is now 2021 so the vehicle is now 7-8 years old approaching 100k miles. We have had major problems throughout our ownership. Brakes and rotors constantly going bad early. Exhaust system deteriorated much early than expected and had to have major repairs. The A/C had to be replaced. Now the front struts have deteriorated to the point the vehicle is undrivable, and while investigating that our trustworthy repair shop found a rear broken spring. The base design of the vehicle is good and when its working it is fine. But it seems the parts used in building these vehicles were the worst of the worst, cheapest most unreliable parts I've ever seen in vehicles my wife and I have experience in our combined 100 years on this earth.

This car been good to me, no major problem what so ever, minor issue like wear and tear parts but anything else are ok. Ill recommending this product to anyone
Pain in your A...And at the pump!!
This the most uncomfortable car I ever owned. The estimated fuel economy has 22mpg not ever 27mpg.Terrible in sand and slick roads.

great car, wrong combo of features
I test drove two late model Nissan Pathfinders and loved everything about them. The dimensions, handling, features (especially the panoramic sunroof), and cargo capacity with seats up, which was more than the Toyota Pathfinder. The problem was finding one with all of the desired features: lots of S, SL models with cloth seats but few - even in the Platinum model - with leather, a sunroof, and AWD. Plenty of leather and no sunroof, or sunroof and AWD but cloth seats, etc. Frustrating. Went with Infinity JX35: luxury version of Pathfinder, with right combo of features and good cargo space.
