Disappointing Quality

I researched this purchase extensively and the Pathfinder won out over several competitors. One of the reasons was I had some quality issues on my prior Explorer and felt the Nissan would be superior in quality. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. I have had numerous problems, though all are small. In 10k miles the dash has developed a squeak that cannot be located. The RR power window does not work. The domelights work intermitantly, and the LF door speaker buzzes even when the radio is off. In 3 trips to the dealer only the domelight is fixed. The power window and speaker parts have been on backorder for 4 months. I like the truck but cannot recommend it.

The outside noise stays outside. I can hear my daughter from the third row seat. The power is there when i need it. The horn is not loud enough. I liked the horn on my ford explorer better. Everything else is up to par.

Problems with fuel sensor and bearings

I too had a fuel sensor problem. Did not have to replace the entire fuel pump only the sensor. Now it vibrates at high speeds and I am being told it is the bearings. More later.

I've had my pf for 5 months now and really enjoy the ride and the power. After a 5-6 hour drive to the mtns. there's no driver fatigue. The pf handles very well for an suv, even in the corners! There's also plenty of room in the back with the seats folded down to sleep. An interior handle to open the liftgate would have been a nice feature. Overall I like my pf except for some ergonomic issues.
