FOREVER MAXIMA
Bought my 95 new GLE with all the goodies . Its been a great car with very little problems in 20 years. With only 70.000 ml the car should last another 20 yrs. Most people talk about 250.000 ml and more well I'll be gone before then lol ... My brother and I are musicians in rock bands for years and the Bose stereo Blew us away . Great car if you only take care of it . Use only the best parts for repairs and your Nissan Will drive happy for a long time .....My car should be a classic before it wares out ...Might just keep it for another 30 yrs ..

A great car at almost 100k miles
We bought our Maxima when it was 3 years old. It has been near flawless ever since. Just had to replace a starter at 95k miles. The exterior is holding up very well. Good original paint still shines. The interior is also in excellent condition. No cracking or breaking on any of the plastic pieces. The engine is quite and smooth, even more so than many 4 cylinder engines. The only complaint is a very light steering feel and too much body roll in the corners. The rear suspension should be independent. Nissan tried to compromise comfort and sport.

Fast and Fast and did I mention its FAST
Bought with 124k at 2800.00(STEAL), totalled at 50k so I bought rebuilt, but the guy drove it 20 miles a day for 5 years with no problems. This thing is super fast. I had a 91 Lumina V6 and this thing blows it away. Starter went at 125k and it needs a new 02 sensor, tires, but other then that it goes 0-60 in 6. And cruises at 120 smooth.
My great Maxi
As a proud owner of my max,I have chanched my old max(92 se) for this one and my suggestions are that it is and still a really confortable car that I have got .
Great Machine
This is my second Maxima, I also owned a 1991, which I drove to its death at 250,000 miles. I also own a 2003 with 102,000 miles. This 1995 currently has 175,000. It is a fabulous machine to drive, I had some replacements problems by having to replace alternator, starter, CV axles, a couple of fuel injectors, infamous knock sensor and the coolant temp sensor apart from regular brake, tune up, oil changes. I think the tricky thing is when the one of the fuel injectors starts acting up, the car/computer thinks the knock sensor and the temp sensor is bad, which was not the case with my and actually one of the injector was going bad. Parts are expensive but a reliable car.
