bought mine new in 4/2011 and truth is i thank god haven't had any problems. I'm sorry to hear about the people who are having problems with the chain. i just got called last week from the dealer to take it in to have the chain replace which after reading the reviews i will do ASAP. i do however hate that it goes thru gas like crazy i'm looking into buying a more gas efficient car but to be honest there is nothing out there that i like or that would make me trade my Bionic frog.

Love/Hate Relationship With This Car

Brought the car for driving to work. Drive a lot of miles on a daily basis to get to work. I have had a number of issues with the car, such as the CVT transmission had an issue and the car was no longer under warranty. This was $2,400 to replace, the gas tank had an issue, to replace, it was $1,500. But, I still love the car as it is reliable and is cheap to do maintenance. It's a fun and cute car. Just had engine failure due to the timing issue with the engine. The deals hip did honor the recall and my Juke is back on the road. My car didn't have the timing issue until 187,000 miles. I expect to put some investment in the car maintenance due to the mileage that I will put on the car. Overall, this is a good car. My 187k miles is all highway miles andoverall runs excellent. I am considering to trade it in due to the mileage, and will likely get another Juke. I never cared about the space in the other seats since I am not sitting in them :). Hope you all go the distance as I have in my 2011 Juke!

Whipper Snapper of a car!

I traded in my 2007 Rav4 Sport in early September for the Juke. I live in the city, and needed a smaller car to increase the likelihood of finding street parking. I chose this vehicle because it was a crossover, had AWD, and was small. I've tried unleaded, mid, and now I'm on premium gas. My consensus: the better the gas the better the MPG. Maybe it's mental, but I feel like the car rides better/smoother with premium as well. Seats are comfortable, interior feels really spacious, and I don't feel as though the backseat is too tight or that head room is a problem. When I jump on the highway I just zoom along and when I look down a few seconds later- BOOM! I'm going 80 mph. No armrest=bummer.

Okay, but I'll never own another one

I bought this car to get me something with good gas mileage that was different with all wheel drive and standard bluetooth. And a sub compact size with a good fun-to-drive ratio. And it had to have a sticker of under 22k Overall its an okay vehicle, but I've been talking to people (nissan techs - to remain nameless) who've all said to trade it in after the warranty is up. That is enough for me to say I won't own another one again, but overall its not terrible. The major complaints are three: 1. MPG is not what was promised 2. Gas tank is only about 11 gallons 3. Although you don't have to run 93 octane your really should to get the best mpg's

Best mix of hatchback and CUV

I've had my Juke for 7 months and just over 8000 miles now. I absolutely love how the car drives, I'm averaging 27mpg, and I haven't had any problems with it. It is small (like Honda Fit small), but I knew that the first time I got in, and a roof rack has solved all my space needs. I've upgraded to 225/60R17 tires which gave it around 1" of lift, bringing the ground clearance to 8". It can't handle rocks like an Xterra, Jeep, or other body on frame SUV, but dirt and sand are no problem at all. I just wish the aftermarket would get behind the Juke, because I'm betting a tune will do wonders for both power and efficiency... and it needs undercarriage protection.
