Great Looks, Nice Drive 5breakdowns are too much

3 breakdowns in 1 st 1500 eventually replaced front wir8ng harness and gave me $600 and extra 5 years warranty. Recently broke down again, roadside jumped flat battery. Dealer checks and ins5alls new battery. 6 weeks later, same scenario. Dealer can’t diagnose fault but fits yet another new battery. Something somewhere there’s a gremlin draining this. Not Happy. Nissan phone whilst in shower, now awaiting recall.

Buyers remorse

I have always wanted a QX56/80 until now. I was so excited for this car but it’s not meeting expectations in drive and technology for the price of the vehicle. I love the look of this car, inside and out but so much I don’t love. First off - no apple car play. Most nissans have this now, why would they not put that in this vehicle? And then little things...like heated steering wheel doesn’t come on auto with remote start (it does heat up nicely though), instrument panel in dash is so boring, and you have to flip through it to get basic info like gas mileage and temp. Lighting is poor in vehicle, storage bins don’t light up. USB and Bluetooth are cumbersome, I don’t get texts. Technology is way behind in this car and I know Nissan has it in other cars. But most importantly I hate the drive in this car. It’s beautiful and comfortable on straight, smooth roads, but is like a boat on bumpy and winding roads (I live in Pittsburgh and the roads are bad). Gas mileage is atrocious (but I knew that going in). Front sensors are touchy, the car constantly beeps at me if it’s snowing. I can’t wait to get rid of this car.

Great Car

Bought my 2017 nissan armada for under $30,000. Within a week of owning it, I was driving back to work from taking my lunch and the back left window explodes. I suspect either a rock hit it or it was shot by a pellet gun (as my friends have had the same thing happen to them). About a week ago we got it back from the body shop and it has been so nice to own. We upgraded from a 2006 pathfinder we've owned since 2011 and it has been so nice to drive this car. I have owned nothing but nissans for the past 7 years, (2006 pathfinder, 2008 rouge, 2013 altima, 2009 versa, 2003 murano) This car has been great and I will own it for a while.

Buy a Sequoia

Cole Winters, 09/03/2023

At 47K, self leveling system crapped out to the tune of $810. At 52K the brake sensor crapped out so the vehicle would not start-another $270 and serious aggravation. At 65K the AC crapped out to the tune of $1200. At 69K the self leveling system crapped out again to the tune of $1100. Now, at 69.7K the transmission is slipping. Never towed anything more than a 2 place snowmobile trailer...less than 2000lbs. None of this was covered under warranty. The certified used warranty is a joke. DO NOT buy an Armada. If you do, get rid of it before the 36K warranty is up. Trust me, buy a Sequoia. My last one had close to 200,000 on it with non...I repeat...non... of these issues. Update: Driving home today from the Adirondacks from vacation today and got a BCI malfunction code...second time in 2 years. Vehicle crapped out 3 miles from home...still less than 70K on odometer. All rhetoric aside, i have use the phrase crapping out quite a bit in this review because it is SO APPROPRIATE. On a scale of 1-10, the durability is 1. Buy ANYTHING ELSE full size but an Armada. Save yourself.

The headlights are horrible. Can’t see hardly at all on dim and bright has a yellow halogen light which sucks also. No excuse for this on a new vehicle

Don't be tall!

Rented for four days in Ottawa for a business trip. Nice leather, wide seats, tall ride position. However, deal killer is entering the driver's seat. You absolutely cannot slide in without hitting your head or harshly contorting your body and heat. I would have considered this as a possible future personal vehicle but no way. Don't be over 6' tall. Fair warning.

Bought with much anticipation

We bought this vehicle after selling our daughter and her husband our 2011 GMC Denali. I have been extremely disappointed with the poor fuel economy of this vehicle. We took it on a road trip to Destin and every time we stopped for bathroom breaks we needed to refuel. It is a huge gas guzzler. Also it doesn't hold the road very well when you hit a bump in the road. It has a tendency to move and doesn't have the stealth to hold steady

"Have Armada Will Travel"

There is a lot of things I like about the Armada... plenty of room, 7 leather seats, Bose Speakers, video screens on back of driver & passenger seats, headphones, tow set up, etc. Only thing I don't like is miles per gallon of gas but it's worth it.

Better than a Tahoe....cheaper too

Just bought a 2018 Nissan Armada SL, upgraded from a 2015 Armada Platinum. The 2015 felt like a tank compared to the 2018. Reliable of course, but big and bulky, but I have zero complaints. Now the 2018 is fast, tech plenty and comfortable and very nice looking. The gear ratio is stock car fast out the gate, the drivers seat is nice, but I am 6'4" so its a little tight, not much. I love the Gunmetal Grey paint job, the adjusting headlights, the feeling of having a very nice SUV. And the 5.6 V8 will be tested when we go camping and haul the 5K pound bumper pull, I am sure it will do fine. Last, the 4WD features are sweet, which dont come with Tahoe or GMC trims normally unless you pay big bucks. The nice thing is that it is a 20k cheaper version of the Infinity SUV, but with all the same features. I bought Cooper Discoverer Plus tires and its rides great. The 7 speed transmission shifts smoothly and the dash layout is fine. I dont need fancy doo dads like the other SUV's have. Dont get me wrong, I love Tahoes, but they are priced through the roof, and this Nissan will give me over 200k if I take good care of it, and I will

Love my car but wish it had CarPlay featured on this model. It is a gas guzzler so if you’re trying to save on gas this isn’t the truck for you. It is very roomy with a roomy 3rd row that adults could fit in if needed with a decent trunk space with third row up. I had done A LOT of shopping prior to purchasing this car and did not want a suburban size car. For the most part I do like my car. Again, I wish it had CarPlay. One of my biggest annoyances lol newer models I hear have it now.
