No Regrets!
Enjoy it so much that I probably will buy it again once it's time for a new car. It feels like a big workhorse to drive, but it is a big vehicle. Pulls boats like they are not even there. Fuel economy is not great, but comparable to other similar SUV's. Flawless dependability. I've had mine for 2-1/2 years without any maintenance issues... none.
I love it
The more i drive it more i love it. Of course to fill it up is around 65$ But i have big family. Two toddlers are in carseats really far from each other. This is exactly what i was looking for.In this car i fell safe and what is most important is that i feel my kids are safe. And it's real fun to go to Home Depot with this car . You can load what ever you whant in it .(And it will feet) I can load my family and my sister family and a dog and every buckled and safe

Very nice truck for the money!!!
Very nicely apportioned vehicle. Quite a bit less in price than the Infiniti QX56 with all the bells and whistles. Very well put together and comfortable. Spacious interior very well put together.
We love this truck
My wife and I loved our Town & Country but wanted to go SUV. I compared just about everything on the market and nothing came close to the Armada for the money. We now have 8K miles and not a flaw. I can't get my wife out of the truck now. I wonder why everyone in the market for a large SUV isnt buying it. Rode in the backseat of a friends Durango. Uggghhh.
worth it
wanted something roomy and this is it. has technology package with gps and its worth every penny for never having to stop for directions again. xm sounds great over the bose system. back up camera is awesome and a great safety feature. my son loves the dvd put in ps2 for him - where was all this when i was little?? we live in big bear and this handles great in the snow no more chains.... average is about 16 mpg not bad for what you get im very satisfied with the purhase.
Good Buy
We purchased the Armada on 4/29/06. I test drove the car and I felt very comfortable in the seat.(5'10" 290 lbs.) I love all of the bells and whistles. This car is very loaded with nav system, DVD, back-up sensors and seat memory. I have to issues: gas mileage. It is very poor. The other is the position of the inside door handle. It is too low.
Love the Armada!
We took a trip to CA over Memorial Weekend and was surprised we got 17.6 mpg driving on Interstate 40. We avg. around 14.5 mpg in our small town.
Super Truck
This is our second Nissan, but this one tops any vehicle owned before. For the power and economy nothing beats it. I have recommended this vehicle to my busines partner of whom also acquired the same vehicle with no regrets.
Easy and fun to drive
Love this truck. It is short people friendly....with the adjustable pedals, I can sit far back and drive cofortably. Lots of room, and 3rd row is very easy to get into and to lay flat. Lots of bells and whistles....more than the Tahoe and the Sequoia....and for a lot less money!
Our second Armada
#2. Our 1st Armada 04 was great until the emissions went bad (what a Nightmare dealing with Nissan NA) However we purchased another. Best SUV we've owned and we've owned them ALL. At 17+ on Highway loaded with 3 youngin's and luggage you can't ask for a better vehicle. Towing capacity surpasses any other SUV on the Market. We tow both 8K lb TT and Horse Trailers. As for problems we had a first year 04 Armada and Nissan is working out the Bugs. Maintainence is Mandatory. If you invest the $$$ in this vehicle maintain it! You'll be happier in the longrun. If it breaks on a warranty item fix-it immediately. Keep records of ALL services no matter how minor. Get on the Good Side of the Service Dpt
My Armada
I really like the 2005 Nissan Armada, but it feels like a TRUCK sometimes, rather than a luxury vehicle. I have had a Lincoln Navigator (should have never gotten rid of it!), a Toyota Sequoia, and now the Nissan Armada. Both the other vehicles handled better. The color and the build are great, and the interior room especially the second and third rows cannot be beat by any thing! Overall I love it.
We Love It !!
We traded a 2005 Volvo XC90 for our new Armada. We found the Volvo has many of tthe same safety features plus the luxury items missing in the Volvo. Both my husband and I love the ride, the handling, the room and the 'extras'. Lots of goodies for the price. It is expensive to fill up but worth every penny.
nice and fun
I love my truck, i had always wanted a big truck and when i compared it to the yukon xl, i knew this was for me. it is super comforable to drive, plus it's fun to drive cuz u can feel the power and it's still sporty looking! I think it is a very nice looking truck yet its sporty.
Best SUV for the Money... By Far
I test drove the Tahoe, Expedition, Sequoia, and of course the Armada. The Armada beat them all. The Tahoe and Expedition had decent power, but both felt like a big truck. The Sequoia felt like a luxury car, but lacked power and lacked all the "extras" that come with SUVs these days (i.e., fold flat seats). The Armada felt like a powerful sports car that, oh by the way, could also haul 8 people with extreme comfort. I am satisfied with my choice.
Dollar by Dollar the best SUV
Great suspension and power excellent sound system easy to get in third row also third row could seat adults up to 6' tall comfortably something that others suv can not do.The rear view is very helpful.
Traded Chevy Suburban, in a heart beat!
Fantastic full size SUV, built right here in the good ole USA! Superior safety features, all standard! Fit, finish & quality of materials are very pleasing. Reputation & reliability are outstanding. Easy to use features, placement of instruments & accesories are well thought out & informative. Find myself in this auto more often than my BMW 7 series! Highly recommend!
Armada
Great vehicle. The gas mileage is not the greatest, but you can feel every bit of the 300+ horse power.
Excellent and Stylish Vehicle
I was in the market to buy a full-size SUV. I narrowed my choices down to an Expedition XLT or an Armada SE. You will not go wrong with the Armada. 1st I love the room inside in the 2nd and 3rd rows. Nothing else compares. Instrument panel is a lot more exciting than the Expedition. The base model SE came with alot more stuff that was extra on the Expedition XLT. I love the Red Brawn color. It is an eye catcher. GAS mileage is poor especially with prices around $3.00 in FL. Very powerful SUV. Drives like a truck but it can fly. The Expedition did handle more like a car. This was a great buy and I would recommend it as long as you don't mind going to the pump twice a week.
Finally Got My Wife in a Full-Size SUV
Wife had always been opposed to full- size SUVs until we test drove an Armada while getting our 350-Z serviced. A week later, we were driving in a red brawn SE w/ the tow and DVD packages. Invoice - $3K + TTL. We're sold on Nissan ride quality.
Tank
Absolute Tank, Wife was rear ended 3 months after purchased. Armada 1 - Mini Van 0. Mini Van towed away and totaled, Armada, little fender damage. Gas mileage not as bad as you think and it has every comfort you could ever need.
Best car ever purchased
I have had a very good experience with this vehicle. I would recommend the Armada to anyone. It is fun to drive and everywhere I go I get complimented on my Armada. I am a big guy and the space is incredible, I have never been in an suv with so much leg and arm room. My father is now thinking of purchasing one of his own. He says it looks sleek and very luxurios. If you are in the market for a suv, I give the Armada 2 thumbs up.
Unique SUV
I purchased this SUV in August 2006, after shipping my old pathfinder abroad. The body style is unique among all the SUV brands. It has a lot of leg room, good entertainment system and numerous storage places as compared to its competitors. It drives beautiful and stable on highway. It took me half tank from Pembroke Pines to Orlando within 3 hours, pretty good on gas on highway driving. I won't trade in for any other model because of its unique body.
Very happy with my purchase
Two weeks ago I bought a used(6mo old) armada with 20K on a odometer. So far I am completely satisfied and enjoy driving it very much. It still smells new. Planning for some light off- roading, and will report back for off- road experience.
best large SUV for the $$
Prior to buying this, I was actually pretty set on the '07 Yukon, however there were certain features on the Armada that won me over. 1. Interior space - this vehicle has more room in the driver's cockpit the the GMC. Also, 2nd row has a lot of legroom. 2. 3rd row seats - I can't understand why GM has not gone to a fold flat 3rd row - I just leave the seats down until needed. 3. Ride quality is great - independent rear suspension does make a nice difference. Also has excellent ground clearance. I am one of those people that actually needs and uses the 4 wheel drive on an SUV. While the LE comes with street tires, it does have excellent manners off road. Traction control works great.
Great Family SUV
We purchased our Armada for traveling long distances and off-road. Its been one of the best and most comfortable vehicles I have ever owned. We travel from ATL to Denver about 3 times a year and from ATL to Houston TX about 2 times a year and I have had no problems, except for the radio went out at 18K miles. No problems to speak of since. Off-road this is a larger and it has never been stuck. I am one that wants to use the 4X4 aspect of this vehicle so do not think it has not been put to the test. The only thing I would change is the fact the paint gets scratched when rubbing against trees. All in all I think this vehicle suits our family needs to a tee.
BEST car I've had, and I've had a lot
Bought this used with 20k miles to replace an Xterra because I needed more room. It just turned 202k miles last week, i've had it about 13 years now and I don't plan on replacing any time soon. If I do it will maybe be for another of this era. Huge space, just right interior quality that holds up to kids and dogs over time, low maintenance costs for me, does everything I need it to and it still looks good (better than new model although the 2021 refresh looks good). Yes it has some of the typical issues like clicking ventilation parts and the weird braking issue (which honestly has only popped up a handful of times but goes away after restart). Overall this is the most solid vehicle I've ever had. Over the years we've gone through many different cars and SUV's (Range Rover supercharged, BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne, Lexus CT, Jeep Liberty, Nissan Xterra, Audis, Mitsubishi Eclipse, Jeep Wrangler, BMW X3, Alfa Stelvio) and while most were good, my Armada has been the most reliable and rock solid. Oil changes, brakes, tires - normal wear items and thats it. We still use it for long family trips and I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere, snow, dirt, mud, sand and it's only a 2wd model (which is my only thing I'd do different next time). If I replace this I'd do a 2008-2015 model or maybe even Infinity QX56 (2008-2010) although a mechanic says the Nissans are a little less finicky. Highly recommended and I've gone through many vehicles over my 33+ years of driving.

2006 Nissan armada
I have a 2006 Nissan Armada and it has 31000 miles on it and still going good the only complaint I have with it is the clicking noise it makes when u turn on and off the air and heat other then that it's a great truck I love mine
The armada le rocks
I love driving the armada...You'll be going 80 and have no idea! I feel safe and I always catch people looking at me in it. We have the LE version with many bells and whistles and they work great. We thankfully haven't been in the shop much at all. The brakes wear out too quickly even though they fixed the 2005 model issue..my husband says Im hard on the brakes. 1 thing major went wrong & it took 3 different shops to figure it out FUEL SENSOR was off & I kept running out of gas even though gauge said it wasn't empty, thankfully under warranty.
Armada Mama
I have 5 kids and really need a large vehicle. I had a Montana for 6 years & really didn't want another minivan but I thought my options were limited to a Suburban or Expedition, neither of which excite me. We went to look at the Quest and decided that it was too small (I need 8 seats). The Armada was so cool! We test drove it overnight and fell in love. We went all out with the LE and leather seats (great for messy boys)! The gas mileage is okay because I do mostly highway driving. I figure that SUV owners are actually helping the gas situation..when the oil is finally gone, car manufacturers will have to implement the alternative fuel technology that you know they have!
Okay
The performance is great for a vehicle that size. It has great pickup speed. There is something about the driver side chair that is not right just cannot explain what. the fuel economy is very poor and should be design better. It is fun to drive because it is big and somewhat easy to handle. Interior design is plain for the price I paid for, exterior is simply but good to look at if you had the right color. Built is okay cannot judge it right now. I believe this vehicle is very reliable.
