Edmunds did not post my review of my car

Edmunds did not post my review of this car nissan altima 2015 because I was telling the truth . These ppl must have connection with nissan ppl. I owned this altima 2015 2yrs ago. Please DON'T BUY THIS VEHICLE . The real problem starts appearing when you have mileage above 30k. My car CVT broke down at around 32K. Before it broke ,these were the symptoms I was experiencing but I did not know at that time. First ,If your front passenger side seat will vibrate a lot. Second you RPM is always high . The worst thing was, the dealer did fix because of warranty but after 2000 miles it broke again. I heard that once your transmission is broken you will always have the same problem unless you put the new one. STAY away FROM NISSAN CVT. NIssan has a lot of problem for CVT transmission especially for 2013 and 2014 model but I found on my 2015 too. I suggest go for toyota or HOnda because my friend who are driving these have no problem even after 50k miles.

Love my Altima, except road noise and low beams

I love almost everything about my 2015 Altima, especially the gas mileage which hovers around 33 mpg city plus highway. But I don't like the road noise in the car. You would think this car has no sound proofing at all. I even switched to new Michelin Defender tires, but still bad road noise. The problem is the car, not the tires. Also the headlight low beams are worthless. They don't illuminate far enough ahead of the car. I feel unsafe driving with low beams in the semi-rural area where I live. I replaced the originals with brighter LED bulbs. Some improvement, but not enough, because they are just aimed too low, or whatever. The high beams are great. But the low beams are little better than candles. If I buy a different car, it will be because of bogus low beams. Except for road noise and low beams, I love the car.

4 cyl acceleration almost as good as other brands v6 due to cvt transmission. Excellent mpg. Hand calculated on long trip 42.2 mpg. Drove speed limit, tailwind sometimes. Very quiet interior, very similar to fit and finish of Lexus 350 ( camry size Lexus ) but $15,000 cheaper. I take offense at car magazine "experts" criticising cvt differences from conventional transmissions.. yes, they are different!! Better performance and mileage but no shift points. Rent one for a weekend if you're on the fence.. Altima is a nice car.. Traded it in on a new 2018 Rogue.. OMG its got a CVT!!! What if one of my snotty friends needs a ride from the Porsche dealer when his P.O.S. is in the shop again and notices there's no jerking/power loss as I smoothly accelerate and drive him to his bank so he can get a loan to fix his fancy schmancy car.... follow the maint sched, change tranny fluid when owners manual says and you'll be fine. Ignoring regular maintenance always gets you in trouble..

The CVT is different than previous types of transmissions, expect to get used to the roar of the engine. I have owned it a little over two years, and have put over 70,000 miles on it without any issues. The Altima seems to be a good buy since they are usually priced low, and are economical to operate. I haven't made any repairs, so I can't say if they will be expensive. Thanks for reading.

This car is super comfortable for long trips. On hwy only I've managed up to 42 mpg a and avg. 35 City miles average 18-20. Or took 4 mo. to get used to the cvt. It is a good looking car and I get a lot of compliments from passengers. The sound system is wonderful and our handles well. The cons... It is noisy and the engine sounds awful sometimes. Not like its running bad just cheap sounding. Overall it's a great car.
