Does what a vehicle should do
We have had this Outlander Sport for over 85,000 miles now. I can't believe how underrated and underappreciated this car is. The warranty backs up what I already know, the engine and powertrain are built to last. The infotainment is easy to use. The climate control is simple and isn't hidden in 17 different menus, there are knobs! There is even a knob for the radio volume control! Oh and there's heated seats! The only "problem" had was the battery died in the car last year, and one of the key fob's battery died 2 years ago. Friends and family that ride in it have told me they are fans of it, without me even asking for their opinions. I have the 2.4 liter engine and have had the car full of people and cargo but still am able to zip around traffic. I live in a major city so the size of this car makes parking convenient and easier than say a bigger truck or SUV. It is a smaller vehicle but it's not one of those tiny ones you don't feel safe in. It looks great inside and out. My mother has an Equinox and when she's in the Outlander Sport she says she would rather have the Mitsubishi! This is our 2nd Mitsubishi. Our first one was a 2009 Outlander bought brand new. The only problem that one had was it in an accident and declared a total loss at 160,000 miles. But guess what, no one in the car was hurt. That car made me respect Mitsubishi and I hope they stick around and keep making quality cars that simply just WORK.

Nice economy small SUV
I have had it for around 15 months with 20k miles on it. It drives very smooth and is peppy for a 4 cylinder, a decent price cheaper than other brands and built 99% in Japan. I average around 28 mpg around town and happy I bought it. I expect this vehicle to run easily into the 200k and maybe 300k.
