2009 Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML350 4MATIC 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 7A)

I liked the 2006 ML so much I got a 2009 ML when my lease was up. The 2009 gas mileage averages around 10mpg in the city and 15mpg on the hwy. Compared to 15mpg in city and 22 mpg that i got with the 2006. The handling on the 2006 was great and fun to drive, the 2009 doesnt have steering with as much feel, it feels more like a bus. No feedback. I think the steering wheel is also bigger in this year but not sure. THe fake leather seats do not compare to the comfort of the leather seats i had previously. THe rear bumper design with the color coating is really dumb but a good way for the dealers to make extra money when you turn in the car. It scratches easily

2009 Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML320 BlueTEC 4dr SUV AWD (3.0L 6cyl Turbodiesel 7A)

Do not buy this model. There are way too many issues with the bluetec system. I thought I was buying reliability when I bought a diesel. I was sadly mistaken. Avoid the ml320 bluetec at all costs. I’ve spent so much money in repairs. Including a check engine light that no one can find out what’s wrong with it. Prone to leaks. Interior is great and overall style of the suv is fairly modern even in today’s standards. But, it is just not worth the reliability. Let this car die everyone so that no one else needs to make the same mistake I did.

Best car I have ever owned

I bought my 2009 ML350 in 2011 used (traded in from a lease) from a Range Rover dealership. I had never even thought of buying a Mercedes SUV, but it just called my name on the used car lot while my son-in-law was buying a new Range Rover. Hands down it is the best car I have ever owned! I have always traded in my cars after 2 years, but not this one! I want to drive it forever!

I had a 2006 ML 350 with multiple problems. I was interested in a 2010 GL, but just couldn't justify the 85k sticker price with options. I took a 2010 ML350 for a drive and was very surprised at the improvements. The seats are unbelievable, and while everything looks similar to the 2006 model, there are improvements at every level. The ride was always great, especially on the highway, but the 2010 is even more comfortable. The fit and finish is better than any car I have ever owned (previous MB, BMW, etc...)

First ML

I purchased this vehicle on Sept.4th 2009. I will admit that I did an extensive study on this vehicle including test driving an 08 and three 06's of this same model and make. I also test drove eight other comparable SUV's of the same size. However, I always went back to the ML because it was just a cut above. The older ML's that I test drove had held up quite well telling me that a new one should be just fine.(including the improvements).
