Used 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class SUV Consumer Reviews
Impractical
I’ve had the 2020 GLC for a year now and it’s been nothing but a headache. Many small inconveniences that add up to be absolutely infuriating. From the license plate mounting and inability to buy adjusted brackets on the MBUSA site, to the inability to properly install a car seat; this vehicle is absolutely inconvenient at every turn. The car was designed with solely the driver in mind. For all other passengers it is an uncomfortable ride. If you have kids, I highly don’t recommend. If you have a dog and want to put a backseat cover down, I highly don’t recommend. If you take road trips with more than one person, I highly don’t recommend. The backseat is very small, it’s actually smaller than the backseat of my Camry. The trunk space is nonexistent. The Apple car play is frustrating, as you must have the phone plugged in to access the typically Bluetooth feature. There’s no place to comfortably put your phone in the front seat, no place for it in the console, doors, armrest. You can barely fit a coffee mug in the console. If you want to plug your phone in to use the Car Play feature you have to put it in the armrest and close it in or carefully position the cord and try to close it. It all comes down to being one of the most inconvenient impractical and infuriating vehicles I’ve ever driven or ridden in. But if you’re the only one ever riding in it..no worries, go for it!

Disappointed
Traded a 6 year old Audi Q5 TDI and disappointed not only by the performance (feels really slow out of the gate) but the MBUX is really poor once you get past the flash. Probably will eat a loss and get rid of this in under a year

Decent. Hopefully 2022 model will be improved.
Superb engine for 2020. Powerful and refined.Economical as well. Drove more than 500 miles from Carlsbad to Sacramento on one tank. Nice cultured car overall, however with a few too negative quirks to my personal taste. 1) Seating position unlike in X3 or Q5 is too low for me, more car like than SUV. Adjusting higher will put your head uncomfortably close to the roof.(depending on your height of coarse). Salon is too tight. 2022 model will be bigger. 2) Handling unfortunately is too bloated. Pity only claustrophobic Macan is great in this regard. 3) Driver's side mirror has too much magnification ratio. 4) Ahh, That typical Mercedes gear selector....
Terrible Tires
Why drive an SUV if the tires can’t handle graded dirt roads? The Pirelli no-flat tires puncture very easily. This is my last GLC....
