Used 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Consumer Reviews
After a month
The car is well built with great safty features, great style, and great options (if you're willing to pay for them). The only problem I am having is with the braking system. Every time you let off the brakes a computer humming sound happens for a couple of seconds. Mercedes says that is normal. The problem is sometimes the humming is so bad that it rattles the dash. Will soon take in to service for a second time. I have noticed the computer system sometimes misreads but hopefully very minor and not too often. Other than that it is a great car.
Nothing but a Benz
There is just no end to the enthusiasm I feel when I get behind the wheel of this car. The acceleration you feel when you hit the highway is so responsive it's unbelievable.

Love in it!
I am loving it & it drives beautifully. The only thing they could improve is the COMMAND system, I think a touch screen would be a lot easier and safer.
superb quality
Very solid car. The seats are in my experience some of the most comfortable out there. The build quality is first rate (as it should be). Finally, Mercedes reputation for safety and durabilty sold us on this car for our family.
Awesome E55
I first drove this car at the AMG challenge at Daytona last May. It was an 8 hour opportunity to try (beat on) all the AMG models. With pro drivers riding shotgun we took these cars to the limit. From the SLK55 to the big S55 the available power and superb handling was like nothing I'd ever experienced before. I decided the E55 AMG was the one for me and I couldn't be happier. I find excuses to drive it. I even drove from NH to Florida and back for fun and a little golf, and if my wife would let me I'd go to California. If you are looking for high performance with versatility and all the creature comforts, Mercedes-Benz AMG vehicles can't be beat.
