Used 2000 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class Consumer Reviews
2000 CLK Cabrio
Excellent quality & reliability without the body flex of most convertibles. Lively performance for a 6 cylinder. Rear seat is actually usable for passengers instead of just parcels.
A satisfied CLK owner...
I feel very safe in the CLK320. I've owned the car for 5 years and have approx 63,000 kms on it. My family of three fits well in the car. I am 6'2" and I have my seat all the way back, which makes it easy to reach back and put my young daughter's seatbelt on. As she grows into her teens, we will probably go to the S class sedan.

bad choice
I've had a number of problems w/ my CLK 320. There was a serious leak underneath the dash; the driver's door bolts have come completely loose and had to be replaced. The tape deck was defective and had to be replaced. The interior design is very poor, with obstructed vision, bizarre controls, etc. Never, ever would I buy another Mercedes.
German hot rod
Buy low miles and look for signs of hard driving. Cruises at 100+ with ease , handles well for an old unit. Update ,A/C went out, compressor lockup. Will need complete ac overhaul. However all non Mercedes parts originally so cost is surprisingly low, like any American car. Did change trans filter and fluid to Amsoil synthetic . As well as engine oil. Highway mileage has been 25 mpg at high speed ,80+ amazingly! At lower speeds mileage drops. Still great !
