2004 Mercedes-Benz C230K - I Love This Car
My 2004 C230K is my very first Mercedes-Benz and I have no idea how I can ever go back to regular cars. This car performs like no other I have driven. It handles better then any car in its class! Go test drive it and see for yourself! It was love at first sight. It is a little pricey but it is worth every penny. I love my car so much and I get so many compliments.
Treat Yourself to this Entry-Level Dream
Fun, fun, fun...everything you would expect in a finely made German automobile in a reasonably priced package with all of the bells and whistles. A great little car.

Excellent Overall
Had car for 10 months. Had BMW5. Now BMW7 and X5. Considered BMW3 but chose this car. Much smoother ride than BMW3. Much quieter than BMW3. 95% of time I'm not cornering the hell out of the car when BMW3 would have an edge so why compromise for a bumpy and noisy BMW3 ride? Nothing's for free, but this car has exceptional balance of acceleration at all speeds. Compressor w/ a small engine but great gas mileage of 22 to 30. Has full safety features and feels that way too. MUST get full leather and full power seats. Cloth is cheap. Exterior rear styling is a bit quirky. Twice in shop for water coolant level detection - tolerable. Mars red color is totally special. One of my favorite cars ever.
Beast in Sheeps Clothing, Kind of
i've enjoyed the presence of this fine German Automobile for almost two years now and everytime I drive it I feel the same "excitement" as day one. Yes, Mercedes managed to make a very UNIQUE car not so unique by giving every entry level C-class the same aero-dynamic kit, but hey, it doesnt have the same AMG (brembo made brakes), hand built 3,2l supercharged V6 engine, suspension, wheels, etc... so to me its still very sepcial and with a few aesthetic upgrades can once again be "unique" as day one.
Nice car but too small
We really like the car. It has good power and looks great. The star on the hood gets respect. Don't plan on having this car be your family car. It's just too small. Great as a single persons car or a married couple. The car has never left us stranded but has been in the shop often. We're going to trade down to a Chevy. We're also concerned about the cost of repairs after the warranty expires.
Fun car to drive!
Drives very nice. Nice dealership service. Only had electrical problem with sunroof and gas line. Very good overall.
Love it
We bought this car with high hopes, well it has by far passed them all. We bought it new and it has never failed. Only regular maintaenance and oil changes. It now has about 100k on it and it still run strong. I now upgraded to a E500, but my daughter just got her license and she got the C230. Oh and the mileage is great! I get around 33 on the highway and 25 in town. I would buy this car over and over gladly.
Great ride
Have on it now 73000 km and no Problems, except my Sunroof got is not work ing.but who needs it !I tryed to see how fast I can go,and made it up to 220km/hr.with the little 1.8liter Motor.

NOT reliable and expensive to repair
This car is just really expensive to maintain. At only 30K miles we started to have P0171 and P0174 error codes and the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor need was dirty or faulty and need to be replaced (cleaning didn't help). PCV hoses would also go bad and vacuum hoses leaking, PCV valves need to be replaced and all kinds of crazy issues. Please listen to the famous youtuber Scotty Kilmer's advice - stay away from any Mercedes and turbo-charged engines!!

Dream Car
Nothing can beat a Benz
Great Car to drive
I have had my MB C230 Kompressor since May of 2003 and I cannot express how much beauty, comfort and the way the car handles that this car has. This is possibly the best car I have owned by far.
Ms. Greene's Benz Review
The inside is a little tight with four adults. and Teleaid option would have been a plus.
very fun to drive
you will love this car!
Newly Satisfied MB owner
I drive MB on business in Europe. Bought one of my own and love the car. Comfortable at speed, both here and on the Autobahn, and handling both at speed on interstate and in my favorite hairpins, is exceptional.
