Great Car
I also have a 2000 CLK and this car has just as much "go" to it. I also like it much better than my '97 Z3. This is a great car. Fun to drive.
Not Worth My Money!
I am a former owner of a Toy Solara 00'. Then I did something stupid and trade it in for the C230 because when I 1st test driven it I thought wow what a cool car.I waited 3 mons for my order and finally got the car in Dec of 01, I ended up paying $35k for it. BUT I HAD NOTHING But PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR!! continue....part 2

Love it - but not perfect
Overall I love this car. Performance is very good, handling great, interior suprising roomy for the size. More than that, it makes you want to drive it - often and hard. Eats up highway miles, great fun to toss around. The ride is a little stiff. Steering is stiff. Controls are stiff. Not bad, but an adjustment if you're coming from a more pampering car. One serious complaint - more rattles and squeeks from the roof area that I would expect from a Mercedes.
finally came in
I ordered my c230k just before thanksgiving and took delivery on feb 22nd. A 1st time MB owner, I am more than happy with the car and for the $$$, it is an exceptional value. Auto, roof, wheels and cd round off the options and at well under $28k, what a bargain.
mercedes c-coupe
this is a great car eventhough it is a little expensive for a hatchback but consider it is a mercedes-benz a famous and well known brand. better than other japanese manufactures.
