wanted to love it
I bought the 2024 CX90 and thought I was in love. A hybrid with 3 rows? Sign this mom up! BUT! It spent 110 days at the dealer for different problems in the 300 days I owned it. So many problems I can't even start to complain here. Save yourself the headache and get a Toyota.

Phev nightmare
Poor engine when the small battery runs out. Clunky transmission.

It has been a wonderful car!
So far we love our Mazda CX90. In over a year of ownership we have enjoyed it very much. It looks classy inside and out and it feels luxurious. It has been reliable so far as well. Compared to my pervious car, a ford fusion, the recalls in my opinion have been way less. We love the “mi-drive” drive options, with Mazda they actually feel like the car changes. When I put it in sport mode I actually feel like I’m driving a sportier car. I have driven a number of other brands SUVs and in my opinion their drive modes don’t feel as responsive. I also love the layout of the interior of the car and all the technology within it. We have had no issues with technology or connectivity of our devices. We would recommend this car to others looking on the three row SUV segment.

The CX-90 is SO fun to drive!
The styling, interior design, and engine/drivetrain are exciting and make the CX-90 MHEV version joy to drive, especially when it can show off the sporty turns with acceleration. The sound system is excellent and has luxury features. I have the MHEV version and it has had no issues so far, where as most issues seem to be with the PHEV version. The suspension is tuned to not feel like a boat, so you can feel some of the road as you drive, but it's still comfortable and sporty.

EV Range will go down to from 26 to 16 Miles!
EV Range will go down to from 26 to 16 Miles as soon as temperature outside drops to 35F ! A 40% Drop in range for such a small range to begin with, is False and misleading advertisement, the drop to 16 Miles significantly limits the car's practicality for everyday commutes and errands on EV. Drivers may need to charge more frequently, which can be inconvenient and time-consuming. P.S. While most major car companies with EV drop, even Ford Mustang Mach-E, Volkswagen ID.4, and Chevrolet Bolt EV only drop 30%. In conclusion, this car is pretty much a gas in cold winter.
