Beware of the center console & narrow seat back
I loved everything about this car and was all set to buy one after a successful test drive...it was then I shut the deal down. As has been noted in some of the other reviews, I realized that the knee obstruction from the center console and the narrow seat back would plague me while driving any distance...I'm sad as I had fallen in love

Zoom zoom and fun
This is my second Mazda I had mazda 3 and this time needed more room for the kids so me and my wife decided to go big but never realized how fun and sporty it would be. We got the Touring and with the apple car play it really makes a big difference. It’s great for the family the kids love it and my wife is happy. Would really recommend to anyone looking for a larger suv with great handling, fun drive and great room. Thank you Mazda

2019 Mazda CX-9 Signature
I bought my 2019 CX-9 over the available 2020 because I didn’t want the rear captains seats but I wanted the upper trim level. The 4 cylinder turbo engine is surprisingly more then enough power for everything I do. All of the tec is great but I give the navigation less then ideal. I’m always overriding it and it’s very limited when driving. What’s with that? The intuitive cruise control is awesome. The breaking is 10 stars! Fuel mileage is mediocre and sometimes with my right foot prevailing over my brain it can be less then mediocre. I drove all of the competition before buying the Mazda and this one was the best IMO, except I did not drive the Hyundai. If you don’t need the 3rd row which I don’t, look at the CX-5. Better mileage. 10” shorter but identical in every way. I would go with the CX-5 next time. Overpriced Euro competition is pathetic....Toyota and Honda’s...both mediocre too.

Great handling SUV, that's fun to drive.
I absolutely LOVE my CX-9 Fwd Grand Touring SUV. Not only is it fun to drive, it's also loaded with safety features. There's the heads up display that's adjustable on the windshield as well as blind spot monitoring, rear and 360 degree camera and adapted cruise control. The engine is responsive and the vehicle lacks any major body roll, which is fantastic for any SUV. High class luxury for a bargain price. Plus, you don't look like every other SUV on the road.

CX 9 is great, lease Section 26 is a problem
The vehicle is a great value. But those who plan to lease should review carefully Section 26 of the Mazda Financial lease agreement. It prohibits taking the vehicle to Canada without prior written permission. And, perhaps more important, only the name lessee(s) may operate the vehicle.
