On Par with my last Suv (Murano)
Coming from a loaded 2005 Murano XE one thing I could not do without (key fob). This narrowed my search considerably. Needed the extra room and wanted a vehicle that looked slick like the Murano. Interior is awesome as well as the exterior. Front grill bugs some but not me. Love the led brake lights and the rear view camera is okay but could be a bit more detailed. The Navigation system is okay but coming from a hand held garmin it seems a bit clunky and non user friendly. The seats are not as comfortable as the Murano and the ride is on par since I came from the SE and not the SL. They should have went with Yokohama Pradas instead of duelers. So far I've been very happy!
Downsized from Suburban
I downsized from a 2003 Suburban and was concerned about giving up 8 passenger seating so I was glad to find the CX-9. The third row is difficult to get little ones in and out that need adult help in getting fastened, I would not want this to be an every day thing, but I am a grandparent, so when needed it will work. The built in dvd system was a hit on day 1. I have had it not quite a month, and so far I am very pleased with it. Gas mileage is not great, however I knew that going in. It has great power which was important in going from my V8 Suburban, I haven't gotten myself into trouble yet. Its very comfortable, seats are great. No issues yet, overall very pleased.

Mazda CX 9: Over-achiever of the year!
We bought this car to replace an 01 Explorer that was going to cost more than it was worth to repair. We tried the Chevy Traverse, Ford Edge, and Explorer XLT...after 5 minutes in the CX 9 it was a done deal! We got the Touring model with AWD, and it blows away anyone elses SUV/CUV! A like vehicle from Acura or Lexus would be $15k more! Fit and finish is exceptional. I am tall - 6'2"- as is my wife at 5'8" so we figure the kids will be big, so I sat in the 2nd and 3rd rows...plenty of room in the 2nd row, and even in the 3rd though head room was shorter...but I could see my self in any seat in the vehicle for a 2-3 hour trip with no problem! The engine is powerful and smooth. Tight handling!

just bought the car 300 miles ago awesome car good power look to kill very high end a definite good value get the grand tour it comes with more extras than the lexus at a better price
Way better then the Acadia
We looked pretty seriously at the Acadia and the Traverse, which were both nice, but this is much more fun to drive. Also got it for $8,000 less then the equal product in the Acadia. When I wen to the dealer, I drove the base model and ordered a touring. I thought that I might be a bit let down not getting the Acadia, but now I have no regrets. It's awesome... got to go for another road trip!
