Just got it will comment again on 3/2010
I just recently bought a used 2003 automatic, 4 cylinder Mazda 6i. It has around 52,000 I will comment on it again in one year to see what everybody says about this vehicle is true.
A Faithful and Fun Car
I owned my Mazda 6 for almost 6 1/2 years before trading it this month. In all that time, the only mechanical problem I ever had with the car was a bad CV valve. I did however have several problems with interior quality, namely my hands wore holes through the leather coverings on the steering wheel and gear-shift knob. Talk about cheap. The headliner also started coming down after only 4 1/2 years. Finally, the pixels on the center console started fading out making it difficult to read. All that said, the car was very reliable and fun to drive. It handled very nimbly and dug into corners. Straight-line acceleration was lacking but it was a 4-cylinder. I would definitely buy it again.

wonderful car to drive
This is a wonderful car to drive. you just want fo find the longest way to go home, and look for any excuse to drive it again.
Love our 6
We drove the Camry, Accord, Passat, Altima, and even a Buick Regal, prior to buying our 6. Drove a six cylinder, but bought a four cylinder for the mileage. Just returned from a 4,000 mile round trip in the six. Very impressed. Very comfortable and stable ride. Passed semi's at 80mph in a 20mph crosswind like we were glued to the road. 30mph highway and about 24 city mpg. I have owned 32 cars/trucks in my life - the Mazda 6 is the most fun to drive! Excellent dollar value.
