great overperforms
It overperforms compared to the competition. The breaking is simply outstanding. The handleing is identicaly great. Acceleration could be faster but after putting some miles on the car it improved to more than enough. Exterior is beautiful. Interior could only be improved by a higher quality leather and better conntrols for the dimming of the dash lights. flat out love it!!!!. Only time will tell if the reliability is as great as the car seams to be.
Mazda6
I've had my 6 since March and have had no problems with it so far. I love everything about this car. My only gripe would be the Bose stereo isn't all it's cracked up to be. I also wish I would have gotten the 5-speed manual instead of the manumatic. In manual mode the transmission takes a while to make its shifts. Other than that it is a well made and designed car. I highly recommend it.
Great! Great! Great!!!!
getting this car has changed my life!!! totally recommend it!!!
Just got it will comment again on 3/2010
I just recently bought a used 2003 automatic, 4 cylinder Mazda 6i. It has around 52,000 I will comment on it again in one year to see what everybody says about this vehicle is true.
A Faithful and Fun Car
I owned my Mazda 6 for almost 6 1/2 years before trading it this month. In all that time, the only mechanical problem I ever had with the car was a bad CV valve. I did however have several problems with interior quality, namely my hands wore holes through the leather coverings on the steering wheel and gear-shift knob. Talk about cheap. The headliner also started coming down after only 4 1/2 years. Finally, the pixels on the center console started fading out making it difficult to read. All that said, the car was very reliable and fun to drive. It handled very nimbly and dug into corners. Straight-line acceleration was lacking but it was a 4-cylinder. I would definitely buy it again.
