Very nice car. Mazda completely reinvented the car for 2014. The interior is excellent. I opted for the almond leather with soul red exterior. Hot looking car. The 184HP is sufficient for me to zoom around town. Love the 7 inch display and amount of features. The car honestly feels like a 35K or higher sports coupe w/ the leather, high end details (carbon-fiber, red stitching on the leather, to sports suspension. I also own a CX-5 and this 2.5 L engine was worth getting. Much better response and performance.

After more than 9 years this car has needed zero repairs--never had anything this reliable. Not even squeaks or rattles. Only basic maintenance needed. Very sporty, quick, handles well, fun to drive, great gas mileage. We get 37-42 mpg on the highway, and about 31-32 mpg for combined driving. Rides a bit rough and road noise is a bit loud, and while the seats are very comfortable for a couple of hours or so they feel too firm on long trips, so not as great on very long trips, but 4-5 hours of driving in a day isn't too bad. Or maybe my butt is just too skinny, but my wife's skinny ass likes the seats just fine. I just wish the hatchback was more like a station-wagon shape as that deep long slope reduces cargo space, but we've traveled for a couple of weeks in it, and we don't travel light, so there is a lot of room.

Handsome. Fun. Tech. 3 words that sum up my new 3. I have had it for a week and the new car emotion hasn't subsided. The car simply looks good. It looks good at all angles. I have a snowflake pearl paint that looks good in the sun and somehow doesn't hide the nice lines of the fender across the body. I am your average commuter that doesn't necessarily have the luxury of a twisty commute but it is quite fun to steer the car. It gives me a good feel of the road. The infotainment center is awesome. It's pretty quick to pair your phone through BT or USB. There isn't a lag time at all when connecting. The commander control has a good feel. I find myself using it than steering controls.

Thrilled with my used S Grand Touring Hatchback

I've owned both 1985 and 1993 Mazda RX7s and loved them. I am astounded that this four door S Grand Touring with all of the options only weighs 202 pounds more than the two door 1993 RX7 sports car! Amazing that they can pack so much luxury and features into this car and still keep the weight down. I like that you can manually shift the six speed automatic and with the stick or the paddle shifters on the steering wheel. When I need to bust out fast I hit the sport button and put the transmission into manual shift and it rocks. I don't miss having a manual transmission at all. The car is such a pleasure to drive with so many features to make me comfortable and safe. I'm loving the radar adapted cruise control and the reverse warnings. The Bose sound system is excellent and the interior detail reminds me of BMW quality with the leather. I'm 6 months into my used car experience and have about 58,000 miles on it. I replaced the brakes with the Power Stop Z23 Evolution kit (for about the same price as OEM parts) and it was a definite improvement in stopping power and brake feel. I've got the OEM roof rack for surfboards and if you fold down one back seat you can stack snowboards back there. The Android Auto integration makes a big improvement over the stock system so that is well worth it if you have the choice. The car feels great to drive so I am thrilled with my car and now I like road trips again.
