Used 2002 Lincoln Town Car Cartier 4dr Sedan (4.6L 8cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
Stylish yet comfortable
I love this car. I have had it for 7 years. I have never had any trouble with the workmanship inside our out.
Great car!
We've had this car about 20 months now, and while my wife initially was intimidated by it, she now refuses to even consider any other vehicle - and we've had everything from Mercedes to Pontiacs!

Upgrade from 00 Signature
Upgraded from 00 Signature to 02 Cartier due to a red light runner. The 02 is head and shoulders above the 00 model. The Cartier does have more hp and is quiter than the other models. My around town gas mileage seems to be better in the 02 than the 00. Firmer seats and smoother steering and lot smoother ride. Instrumentation is easy to read.
Bury Me in a 2002 Town Car.
I have owned 15-20 Town Cars, I had a Transportation business. Retired now. If you want to 'float like a boat', buy a 90-94 TC. If you want to own a fat headache, buy a 95-97 TC. If you want to own the best all-around TC, buy a 98-02, with 2002 the best in my pro experience. The 03-11 TC's are great, a hotel room on wheels, will run forever, 500k or more. BUT, interiors are cheap, cheap cheap, door handles fall off, push buttons fly off! Town cars are reliable, easy to work on, inexpensive to fix, stay away from GM, Cadillac, expensive to fix and maintain, cheap engines.
