Slow transmissions but fixed

Bought my used 2017 rx350 for 6 month. First got it the transmission switch gear very slow and sluggish. After I changed the transmission fluid last week it becomes as good as my last 2010 rx350. Reliable and comfort but not sporty.

Missing drivers cup holder. Storage under center console. Could use passenger dash tray. No audible lane change alarm. No engine shut off at stop. Bad phone compartment, strange.should be no charge for phone app.

4/5 on paper but overall experience is better!

Know this. The current generation (2016 and beyond) RX 350 is not a corner carver. But it is the best in its class at what most people need it to do. If you don't need 3-row seating, ultimate performance (sport or off-road) or a huge cargo area....go full speed ahead with it. I have replaced my stock tires with wider 265/50/R20s, which have improved the stance and handling of my car; and now it feels a little closer to the F Sport badge. It dropped the MPG a little, but I can live with that as a viable trade-off. Otherwise, everything else is curry! It is smooth, fairly quick and very comfortable. There's a reason it's been the best selling luxury vehicle in the USA for the past several years.

Stay away! Rodent feces issues!

I purchased the Lexus brand new at Lexus Monterey Peninsula. After the last two services, it is costing us $200 and now recently the 2nd service $1200 because of rodent getting into the air ventilation system. The first incident, they found rodent feces in the air ventilation system which blows into the car. I have three young kids and it’s a truly safety issue on my end. The service technician admitted that this often happened. I reported the problem with Lexus and nothing has been done. It did happen again on my second service which is now costing me $1200 “15k service” as the rodent damaged the air mode outer door in the air ventilation system. I contacted Lexus again and they won’t cover anything even though my car still under the bumper to bumper warranty and I purchased an additional maintenance plan to avoid any fees for the next 5 years. I told them, I had a Honda Odyssey and currently a Ford f150 without any rodent issue. Lexus truly does not care about issues/complaint knowing that it could be a safety concern.

Poor redesign of rear entry/exit

In an effort to have floating roof line, the designers failed to notice the passenger comfort and safety as they exit the vehicle. Not so much getting in, but one gets out without paying attention to the roof line, you could most certainly get hit at the temple if you don't lean forward as you get out ...... It's disappointing to see this from Lexus, not to mention their interior is cluttered with too many types of cheap materials and finishes, which does not flow well. Gives a very clumsy finish. If not, I would have bought it. I liked the BMW X5 interior, but with all their reliability issues, I've settled with Porsche Cayenne.
